It is said that ‘no one gets out of childhood unharmed’. And for diaper-wearers and Adult Babies, it is way too true. This is one of those truisms that understands that we all carry some scars and drag around some burden that developed in childhood. Despite the best efforts of parents, family, teachers and those around us, there are always things we pick up along the way that causes us a measure of trouble or difficulty later on. Parents are not perfect and Mary Poppins is not real. Life is full of mistakes, failings and weakness, even in the best of people. Fortunately for most of us, these childhood-grown issues are relatively small and well within our capacity to manage and live with. But not everyone is so lucky. This new book by Dylan Lewis – the third in the series – explores the issue of early childhood, where our memories do not reach, but the effects are still felt today. For Adult Babies, there is an element of difficulty or trauma that was most likely trivial to everyone else, but ‘wounding’ to ABs. Go on a journey of discovery with Dylan Lewis and Healing Childhood Wounds.

"What is keeping you from falling in love with you?" You may not be able to answer this question just yet, but I challenge you to write it down in your journal, and when it comes to the appointed time . . . You will be able to answer this question and allow God to restore all that was lost so you can begin to love again, and most of all love you just the way you are! The 30-Day Journey to Loving the Woman in Me is a day-by-day process to help you take the steps necessary to be released into loving you in the way that is needed in order to be free, healed, and able to love others all around you past your own understanding. Most of you are thinking, "I do love myself, I love me some me, I am all for me, and I take care of me!" I can go on and on about what you think loving yourself is . . . My question to you now is, "How do you know you truly, genuinely and whole heartedly love you?" Before you answer that question take a look back on your past seasons in life and even some of your current seasons in your life. Step by step and day by day, I with God's guidance will help you get to that place by taking you on a journey of understanding the truth of what it takes to truly and wholeheartedly loving you. You may not want to go to certain places emotionally, but if you really want a change to come, you have to go to some of the most uncomfortable, darkest places and moments that tainted your love for you, and the love that God is offering to you and allow God to shine his light on each wound and each scar so you can be wiped clean and set free to love and be loved for eternity.

Drawing on previously unpublished letters written by John S. Kidder to his wife, Harriet, during the Civil War, James M. Greiner recounts the triumphs and tragedies endured by one New York family. Kidder, a carriage maker living in the rural village of Laurens, responded to President Lincoln's call in the summer of 1862 for more troops by personally recruiting over seventy men living nearby. Serving under Emory Upton, considered one of the most talented soldiers produced by the Union, Kidder was captain of Company I of the 121st New York Volunteers. The regiment saw action at Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Rappahannock Station, the Wilderness, and Spotsylvania. Kidder's letters home contain rich details of camp life, the difficulties of commanding men who had only recently been his neighbors, and the highs and lows associated with soldiering during the Civil War. They also reveal Harriet's struggle to maintain the family home and business due to the uncertainties of army pay.
