RIVISTA (100 pagine) - Speciale Science Fiction - 60 racconti brevi di fantascienza selezionati sul forum della WMI Ritorno al passato? Da un certo punto di vista sì, almeno per ciò che riguarda il formato e la grafica di questo fascicolo. O forse, per dirla in termini fantascientifici, Ritorno al futuro. Il motivo è abbastanza semplice: abbiamo voluto proseguire la "tradizione" dello Speciale Sf della rivista, e dunque recuperare non solo il formato più grande, che dà agio ai lettori di leggere con più comodità i tanti racconti contenuti in questo numero (ben sessanta di fantascienza, e altri di narrativa), ma anche una simbologia fatta di colori, immagini, scelte grafiche e stilistiche che richiamino la science fiction, narrativa che sulla spettacolarizzazione delle idee (e delle immagini) ha sempre avuto molto da dire, in anticipo sui tempi. Ecco perché non mi dispiace affatto l'idea di giocare proprio con il tempo, uno degli argomenti principe della SF, recuperando il formato più grande della rivista di qualche anno fa, e persino il modo in cui, graficamente, abbiamo voluto dare risalto ai racconti selezionati. E ora, chiusa la parentesi "estetica", lasciatemi parlare un po' di contenuti. Ancora una volta, gli autori italiani di SF si sono superati, proponendoci dei racconti di grande qualità, che abbracciano tutti i sottogeneri della science fiction in modo originale e divertente. Che cosa chiedere di più, ai nostri scrittori? Direi proprio nulla. Leggeteli e vi accorgerete che hanno ben poco da invidiare ai tanto osannati anglosassoni... This book examines the Chinese fictions (xiaoshuo) published between 1898 and 1927 – three pivotal decades, during which China underwent significant social changes. It applies Narratology and Sociology of the Novel methods to analyze both the texts themselves and the social-cultural factors that triggered the transformation of the narrative mode in Chinese fiction. Based on empirical data, the author argues that this transformation was not only inspired by translated Western fiction, but was also the result of a creative transformation in tradition Chinese literature.
