Hiljaisuuden äänet on uusi runokokoelmani. Kokoelmassa on 41 runoa. Uusia runoja on kuusi sekä neljä muuta vuonna 2022 julkaistua runoa. Kaikki muut tekstit on kirjoitettu vuosien 1989 - 1995 välillä. Tähän kirjaan olen muokannut näitä vanhoja tekstejäni uuteen modernimpaan muotoon. Se ei ole ollut helppo projekti, koska on hyvin hankalaa muistaa mitä asioita ja tapahtumia olen yli 30 vuotta sitten näissä runoissani käsitellyt. Aika kuluu nykyään liian nopeasti eteenpäin ja ajatukset eivät enää pysy perässä. Toivottavasti nämä runoni ja runolliset tekstini kuitenkin kiinnostavat lukijoita vielä vuosienkin kuluttua. Sitten näidenkään työstäminen ei tunnu enää niin turhalta ja turhauttavalta työltä.
