Im Leben der wohl meisten Menschen geschehen immer wieder Dinge, die sie sich nicht erklären können, die bisweilen sogar völlig unerfindlich und höchst merkwürdig sind. Das, was einem da widerfährt, kann sehr unangenehm, aber auch äußerst erfreulich sein. Im Normalfall versucht man erst gar nicht, der Sache auf den Grund zu gehen. Man nimmt es hin und glaubt, dass es sich eben um zufällige Ereignisse oder Begebenheiten handele, für die es keine erkennbaren Ursachen gäbe. Zu diesen unerklärlichen Dingen kann es auch gehören, dass man sich manchmal für etwas sehr stark engagiert, ohne genau zu wissen, warum man es tut. Bis vor etwa drei Jahren war das bei mir nicht anders. Auch ich habe das, was mir nicht erklärbar schien, nicht weiter hinterfragt. Insbesondere hätte ich es damals niemals für möglich gehalten, dass die wahren Ursachen für bestimmte Geschehnisse in einem früheren Erdenleben liegen können. Ja, ich war sogar davon überzeugt, dass die Idee der Reinkarnation, von der ich natürlich schon einmal gehört hatte, nur etwas für Spinner und Phantasten wäre. Da sich meine Einstellung zu dieser Thematik vor drei Jahren radikal geändert hat, ist es vermutlich ganz gut, wenn ich mit meiner Erzählung im Jahre 2018, also vor drei Jahren, beginne. Ich war zu diesem Zeitpunkt 51 Jahre alt. In dieses Jahr fiel der Tag, ab dem sich mein Leben langsam von Grund auf zu verändern begann. Ich wachte allmählich auf und fing an, mein Leben mehr und mehr zu verstehen.
