Algorithmic learning theory is mathematics about computer programs which learn from experience. This involves considerable interaction between various mathematical disciplines including theory of computation, statistics, and c- binatorics. There is also considerable interaction with the practical, empirical ?elds of machine and statistical learning in which a principal aim is to predict, from past data about phenomena, useful features of future data from the same phenomena. The papers in this volume cover a broad range of topics of current research in the ?eld of algorithmic learning theory. We have divided the 29 technical, contributed papers in this volume into eight categories (corresponding to eight sessions) re?ecting this broad range. The categories featured are Inductive Inf- ence, Approximate Optimization Algorithms, Online Sequence Prediction, S- tistical Analysis of Unlabeled Data, PAC Learning & Boosting, Statistical - pervisedLearning,LogicBasedLearning, andQuery&ReinforcementLearning. Below we give a brief overview of the ?eld, placing each of these topics in the general context of the ?eld. Formal models of automated learning re?ect various facets of the wide range of activities that can be viewed as learning. A ?rst dichotomy is between viewing learning as an inde?nite process and viewing it as a ?nite activity with a de?ned termination. Inductive Inference models focus on inde?nite learning processes, requiring only eventual success of the learner to converge to a satisfactory conclusion.

Computer Vision For Driver Assistance written by Mahdi Rezaei and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-02-06 with Mathematics categories.
This book summarises the state of the art in computer vision-based driver and road monitoring, focussing on monocular vision technology in particular, with the aim to address challenges of driver assistance and autonomous driving systems. While the systems designed for the assistance of drivers of on-road vehicles are currently converging to the design of autonomous vehicles, the research presented here focuses on scenarios where a driver is still assumed to pay attention to the traffic while operating a partially automated vehicle. Proposing various computer vision algorithms, techniques and methodologies, the authors also provide a general review of computer vision technologies that are relevant for driver assistance and fully autonomous vehicles. Computer Vision for Driver Assistance is the first book of its kind and will appeal to undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, engineers and those generally interested in computer vision-related topics in modern vehicle design.

What happens in Vegas… Can break hearts and destroy careers. Years ago, heartbreak corrupted Jared Tippins’s outlook on love. He spun the betrayal into a rapid climb up the corporate ladder, and swore off any relationship with a morning after. Luckily, the playful siren who rescues him from singing a duet alone in a karaoke bar doesn’t want anything long term. If only he could stop fantasizing about ways to make her moan. Sure, she could’ve mentioned he works for the competition. At least she’s not behind the security concerns that have plagued his company for almost six months. If she were, he’d be screwed on a whole new level. Mikki Elford is determined to have the fun she missed out on when she fast-tracked her way through college. But school had its upside, too. She’s qualified to legally hack corporate networks. Best job ever. She also gained an appreciation for the legends in computing — Gates, Jobs, and Tippins. When she meets Jared Tippins and realizes he’s sexy and fluent in programming languages older than she is, no consequence will dissuade her from an impromptu fling. Fortunately, he doesn’t mind that six months ago she compromised his network to land her job. Oh, crap. He doesn't know. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly recognized as a transformative to ol in the field of radiation and nuclear safety. This technology offers significant opportunities to enhance the safety, security, efficiency, and reliability of nuclear facilities and radiation-related operations. The book contains chapters that describe general topics about different radiation and nuclear safety applications of AI technology in radiation and nuclear endevours and facilities, as follows: (i) ethical aspects of radiation and nuclear safety, and their relationship with AI, (ii) AI and radiation protection, (iii) AI and the challenges to nuclear safety; as well as a set of more specific chapters (v) Artificial intelligence and radiation protection in medical applications (diagnosis and therapy), (vi) AI for radiation protection in the decommissioning of radiation and nuclear facilities, and (vii) innovation in the role of AI for regulatory document management. The adoption of AI will also require significant regulatory updates and workforce training to keep pace with technological advancements. As AI applications expand-both in predictable and unforeseen ways-regulatory bodies must adapt to ensure ongoing compliance and safety assurance. Continued collaboration among AI developers, nuclear safety experts, and regulatory authorities will be critical. With the right safeguards, AI has the potential to significantly transform the radiation and nuclear industries by providing safer, more efficient, and more effective solutions
