Knowledge can set you free, but fear can help you rule. So it came to be that on the same day, at the same minute and the same second, ten of the most populous cities around the world were destroyed, leaving no known survivors. The spies and covert groups were blamed, hunted down and destroyed by better agents. Agents that can read minds, punch through walls, and control the actions of others, working for an organization as old as the Roman Empire itself. When their first rogue agent in history wakes up with no memories, covered in bruises and targeted for execution, it's up to him to recover his past and reveal the secret of their powers. But first, he must decipher his name and answer the question that plagues them all: What is your greatest fear?

We are living in a time when many people are feeling the weight of the world on their shoulders, in the form of global and personal stress--financial challenges, illness, loneliness, depression, and lack of purpose. "Zero Frequency", by Mabel Katz, is an illuminating book that offers all struggling citizens of this planet a path out of turmoil and towards a life of happiness, peace, and abundance. As a lifelong practitioner and leading authority on Ho'oponopono, the ancient Hawaiian art of problem-solving, Mabel Katz's new book presents wisdom in a more practical and modern way--one that simultaneously speaks to the mind and heart, while also cutting through many of the mind traps and illusions that prevent us from experiencing truth. In this book, you will come to understand that "Zero Frequency" is a direct pipeline back to who we are--to our true essence. "Zero Frequency" is also a suspension of mind and thought that would allow us to return to the fullness of the Present Moment. Mabel calls this a return to our natural state of Zero--the limitless state that comes when we live in the Now--present, conscious, free of judgment--allowing our hearts to open to the wisdom that already lives within each of us. This book will lay down a concrete path to help its readers wake up and realize their potential. It is a book that is written with the unwavering belief that the more we help (and heal) ourselves, the more we help (and heal) the planet. Living from who we are is at the core of "Zero Frequency", a combination of gratitude, letting go, and practicing peace. "Zero Frequency" is like returning to our childhood, and the joy and innocence we have lost as time and age have buried who we are. Rediscovering this part of ourselves--our true self--is the pathway back to opening our hearts to abundance, peace, and joy. It is where all the answers to life's problems will be found. It is the heart and soul of "Zero Frequency".--Publisher.

High Frequency Techniques written by Joseph F. White and has been published by John Wiley & Sons this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-08-03 with Technology & Engineering categories.

This textbook provides a fundamental approach to RF and microwave engineering. It is unusual for the thoroughness with which these areas are presented. The effect is that the reader comes away with a deep insight not only of the design formulation but answers to how and why those formulations work. This is especially valuable for engineers whose careers involve research and product development, wherein the applicability of the applied principles must be understood. The scope of this book extends from topics for a first course in electrical engineering, in which impedances are analyzed using complex numbers, through the introduction of transmission lines that are analyzed using the Smith Chart, and on to graduate level subjects, such as equivalent circuits for obstacles in hollow waveguides, analyzed using Green’s Functions. This book is a virtual encyclopedia of circuit design methods. Despite the complexity, topics are presented in a conversational manner for ease of comprehension. The book is not only an excellent text at the undergraduate and graduate levels, but is as well a detailed reference for the practicing engineer. Consider how well informed an engineer will be who has become familiar with these topics as treated in High Frequency Techniques: (in order of presentation) Brief history of wireless (radio) and the Morse code U.S. Radio Frequency Allocations Introduction to vectors AC analysis and why complex numbers and impedance are used Circuit and antenna reciprocity Decibel measure Maximum power transfer Skin effect Computer simulation and optimization of networks LC matching of one impedance to another Coupled Resonators Uniform transmission lines for propagation VSWR, return Loss and mismatch error The Telegrapher Equations (derived) Phase and Group Velocities The Impedance Transformation Equation for lines (derived) Fano’s and Bode’s matching limits The Smith Chart (derived) Slotted Line impedance measurement Constant Q circles on the Smith Chart Approximating a transmission line with lumped L’s and C’s ABCD, Z, Y and Scattering matrix analysis methods for circuits Statist

Spectral Analysis Of Musical Sounds With Emphasis On The Piano written by David M. Koenig and has been published by OUP Oxford this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-11-13 with Science categories.

This book addresses the analysis of musical sounds from the viewpoint of someone at the intersection between physicists, engineers, piano technicians, and musicians. The study is structured into three parts. The reader is introduced to a variety of waves and a variety of ways of presenting, visualizing, and analyzing them in the first part. A tutorial on the tools used throughout the book accompanies this introduction. The mathematics behind the tools is left to the appendices. Part Two provides a graphical survey of the classical areas of acoustics that pertain to musical instruments: vibrating strings, bars, membranes, and plates. Part Three is devoted almost exclusively to the piano. Several two- and three-dimensional graphical tools are introduced to study various characteristics of pianos: individual notes and interactions among them, the missing fundamental, inharmonicity, tuning visualization, the different distribution of harmonic power for the various zones of the piano keyboard, and potential uses for quality control. These techniques are also briefly applied to other musical instruments studied in earlier parts of the book. For physicists and engineers there are appendices to cover the mathematics lurking beneath the numerous graphs and a brief introduction to Matlab® which was used to generate these graphs. A website accompanying the book (https://sites.google.com/site/analysisofsoundsandvibrations/) contains: - Matlab® scripts - mp3 files of sounds - references to YouTube videos - and up-to-date results of recent studies

Fundamentals Of High Frequency Cmos Analog Integrated Circuits written by Duran Leblebici and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-03-10 with Technology & Engineering categories.

This textbook is ideal for senior undergraduate and graduate courses in RF CMOS circuits, RF circuit design, and high-frequency analog circuit design. It is aimed at electronics engineering students and IC design engineers in the field, wishing to gain a deeper understanding of circuit fundamentals, and to go beyond the widely-used automated design procedures. The authors employ a design-centric approach, in order to bridge the gap between fundamental analog electronic circuits textbooks and more advanced RF IC design texts. The structure and operation of the building blocks of high-frequency ICs are introduced in a systematic manner, with an emphasis on transistor-level operation, the influence of device characteristics and parasitic effects, and input–output behavior in the time and frequency domains. This second edition has been revised extensively, to expand some of the key topics, to clarify the explanations, and to provide extensive design examples and problems. New material has been added for basic coverage of core topics, such as wide-band LNAs, noise feedback concept and noise cancellation, inductive-compensated band widening techniques for flat-gain or flat-delay characteristics, and basic communication system concepts that exploit the convergence and co-existence of Analog and Digital building blocks in RF systems. A new chapter (Chapter 5) has been added on Noise and Linearity, addressing key topics in a comprehensive manner. All of the other chapters have also been revised and largely re-written, with the addition of numerous, solved design examples and exercise problems.

This book, Active Filters and Amplifier Frequency Response, is the third of four books of a larger work, Fundamentals of Electronics. It is comprised of three chapters that describe the frequency dependent response of electronic circuits. This book begins with an extensive tutorial on creating and using Bode Diagrams that leads to the modeling and design of active filters using operational amplifiers. The second chapter starts by focusing on bypass and coupling capacitors and, after introducing high-frequency modeling of bipolar and field-effect transistors, extensively develops the high- and low-frequency response of a variety of common electronic amplifiers. The final chapter expands the frequency-dependent discussion to feedback amplifiers, the possibility of instabilities, and remedies for good amplifier design.
