Dabei werden die Rechnungslegung von Versicherungsunternehmen nach HGB und nach IFRS sowie die Marktforschung nicht nur isoliert voneinander auf die Eignung und Nützlichkeit für die Unternehmenssteuerung untersucht. Es geht auch um die Frage, ob und wieweit das Zusammenspiel der einzelnen Datenquellen neue Erkenntnisse und damit Mehrwerte für das Management von Versicherungsunternehmen liefern kann. Insbesondere Mitarbeitern und Führungskräften in Versicherungsunternehmen kann das Buch damit Ideen und Lösungsansätze für die Verbesserung der Informationsversorgung bieten.
