Seminar paper from the year 2002 in the subject Business economics - Law, grade: 1,0, Savonia University of Applied Sciences , course: Marketing Law, language: English, abstract: It is not an easy task to create a nice film, wonderful music or a new software. But since it is really easy to copy the created economic value, this work has to be protected in order to keep this innovation process going and provide an incentive for the creation of investment in new works. Therefore a need for legal protection had arisen, which lead to enacting Intellectual Property rights. Many countries have seen the need for this protection. The following work outlines the European and partly the International Legislation of Intellectual Property Rights by first explaining the specific property right and further providing information about European and International legislation. Internationally, IPR are regulated by conventions like the Patent Cooperation Treaty, the Madrid Agreement for the international registration of brands, the Hague Agreement for industrial signs, and the Bern Convention of copy rights. Within the EU, the European Patent Office and the EU Regulation on Trademarks are responsible for the enforcement. Nationally, the national legislation as well as the registration offices take care of those issues. The IPR consist of Copyright, Trademark, Patent, and Design. They all are generally described as intellectual property or intangible property because they are property rights that cannot be touched or felt like personal property (e.g. car) or real property (e.g. land). However, the terms have different meanings and define different things.

Artificial Intelligence In Marketing written by IntroBooks Team and has been published by IntroBooks this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on with Business & Economics categories.

Artificial intelligence in marketing, which is commonly known as AI Marketing, is a process of striking a chord of linkage between customer statistics and artificial intelligence hypotheses. It is basically an automated learning curve for a business house on the marketing front such that it can predict a customer’s ongoing move and the next phase of action. By doing so, a business entity can easily amplify its outlook in the interests of the customer, which, in turn, displays the quality of relevant products or services in an intelligent manner to reach a larger audience. Due to the emergence of artificial intelligence marketing solutions, an effective recourse is seen apparent in terms of bonding between scientific data points, which are amassed industriously for subsequent implementation. In other words, the erstwhile process of manual hard work of assembling and analyzing a colossal quantum of data has surely become a thing of the past.

State Sovereignty And Non Interference In International Law written by Benjamin Mekinde Tonga and has been published by GRIN Verlag this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-02-17 with Law categories.

Master's Thesis from the year 2018 in the subject Politics - International Politics - Topic: Public International Law and Human Rights, grade: 3.6/4, , course: Law, language: English, abstract: The principles of state sovereignty and non-interference rest at the very heart of International law and springs from the 1648 Westphalian treaty.Westphalian sovereignty is the principle of international law that each nation state has sovereignty over its territory and domestic affairs to the exclusion of all external powers. This is founded on the principle of non-interference in another country‟s domestic affairs and that each state irrespective of its size is equal in International law. This study shall rely principally on the doctrinal research methodology by systematic and thematic analysis of existing data on sovereignty and non-interference. The interpretation of sovereignty as narrowly as the non-intervention principle has placed sovereignty against the possibility of intervening for the protection of Human rights. The Rwanda genocide, mass atrocity crimes and crimes against humanity that characterized the state of Rwanda and Srebrenica amongst others raised the need for action by the International community to protect not only states, but also people. This thesis attempts therefore, to find a bridge between these two seemingly opposing interests -protecting the state for a strong international order and protecting the people to save lives. Responsibility to protect is based on the notion of a primary responsibility with each and every state to protect its population, and a secondary responsibility with the international community to assist a state, which is unwilling or unable to protect its people. This thesis concludes that responsibility to protect is part of sovereignty, as a duty of a state, corresponding to the right of non-intervention. If the reign fails to protect its people, or is itself abusing its people, the right of non-intervention becomes void.

As early as the sixties, academics began to question the borders and boundaries of marketing. A new wave of thinking born from social influences entreated them to liberate the marketing concept from the confines of the commercial profit motive. Despite several shifts in focus for nonprofit marketing, topics that have continued to receive particular attention include the attraction of resources (including fundraising and volunteer recruitment), issues surrounding image and reputation, the use of marketing to promote behavioural change and the evolving relationship between principles and practices of marketing and the arts. This major work addresses both the historical and conceptual development of the field as well as the new concepts and challenges it faces in the new millennium. This collection of articles and book chapters will equip academics and practitioners to participtate in and steer the key and contemporary debates. Volume I: The Evolution of Nonprofit Marketing provides a historical overview of both the conceptual and practical development of the field. Volume II: Nonprofit Marketing Applications sets out a thorough synopsis of the practical and managerial development of the field to examine the scope and nature of applications while Volume III: Key Debates and Contemporary Issues in Nonprofit Marketing offers a critical perspective on current challenges and debates.
