Veritabila biblioteca intr-o carte, Dictionarul analitic de opere literare romanesti comenteaza, la curent cu bibliografia de ultima ora si cu cele mai noi instrumente critice, operele reprezentative ale literaturii romane de la inceputuri si pana in imediata contemporaneitate. Dincolo de valoarea sa de lucrare de referinta continand date importante privind evolutia literaturii noastre, dictionarul este si un model de lectura si valorificare a mostenirii culturale, inscriindu-se printre cele mai remarcabile si mai solide lucrari ale ultimelor decenii si alaturandu-se marilor opere lexicografice/istoriografice care situeaza Clujul in fruntea intreprinderilor de acest fel realizate in Romania.
