Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2023 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Pädagogische Psychologie, Note: 1,7, Hamburger Fern-Hochschule, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Da das Selbstkonzept von Kindern und seine Entwicklung für die Lernmotivation einen wichtigen Anteil hat, wird in dieser Arbeit der Zusammenhang von benachteiligten Kindern und ihrer Lernmotivation mit dem Selbstkonzept genauer beleuchtet. Die Benachteiligung von Kindern ist ein weitgefasster Begriff. Um diese Arbeit weiter eingrenzen zu können, wird der Schwerpunkt auf die soziale Herkunft und deren Einfluss auf Bildungsstrukturen und Selbstkonzept gelegt. Die pädagogische Psychologie ist ein Teilgebiet der Psychologie, das sich mit der Beschreibung, Erklärung und Optimierung menschlichen Erlebens und Verhaltens in Erziehungs- und Bildungsprozessen befasst. Bildung ist hierbei klassische Wissensvermittlung zu verstehen. Sie ist einer der wichtigsten Schlüssel für Persönlichkeitsentwicklung und Selbstbewusstsein, für ein selbstbestimmtes und eigenständiges Leben, für Sozialkompetenz sowie für interkulturelle und internationale Verständnis. Sie ist der Grundstein zur Lösung globaler Probleme und einer gerechteren, inklusiven Gesellschaft, mit fairen Chancen für jeden Einzelnen und jede Einzelne. Unter der Annahme eines andauernden und lebenslangen Lernens bezieht sich die Pädagogische Psychologie dabei nicht ausschließlich auf den schulischen Kontext, sondern schließt vielmehr auch außerschulische Erziehungs- und Bildungsprozesse mit ein. Der Fokus dieser Arbeit liegt auf dem Aspekt des Selbstkonzepts, der sich mit dem schulischen Bereich und der kognitiven Leistungsfähigkeit einer Person befasst. Die Selbstkonzept-Forschung ist ein wichtiger Grundpfeiler der pädagogischen Psychologie um Bildungs- und Lernverhalten von Kindern weiter zu verstehen und in den Erziehungs- und Bildungsprozess einbringen zu können. Zu Beginn dieser Arbeit wird ein Definitionsversuch des Selbstkonzepts erfolgen und die Unterscheidung des akademischen und nicht-akademischen Selbstkonzepts erläutert. Zudem wird der Zusammenhang von Selbstkonzeptausprägungen und Lernmotivation beschrieben und der Einfluss von Lehrkräften auf die Entwicklung dieser dargestellt. Um die Forschungsfrage als Fazit beantworten zu können, wird darüber hinaus die Bedeutung des sozialen Umfelds bezüglich des Selbstkonzeptes erläutert und somit das Augenmerk besonders auf sozial benachteiligte Kinder gelegt.

This book reports the design, execution, and results of a cross-national study of classrooms in eight countries. Students were administered tests and completed questionnaires at the beginning and the end of the study. Teachers also completed questionnaires. Classrooms were visited by trained observers on the average of eight times during the study. The data were analyzed in a variety of ways: simple summaries, sequential analyses, and multivariate analyses. The results of these analyses are presented and discussed. Conclusions based on these findings as well as recommendations for further research are presented.
