Digital Society Future explores how social media will reshape society, projecting significant shifts in communication, governance, identity, and online communities. It argues that understanding these evolutions is crucial for navigating the 21st century, given social media's influence on individual behavior, institutional frameworks, and global interactions. Did you know that the rise of Web3 and augmented reality may soon transform online interaction? Or that the creator economy is rapidly changing how individuals monetize their digital personas? The book traces social media's evolution, analyzing driving forces like technological innovation and shifting cultural norms, while also considering the impact of algorithmic bias. It progresses through key areas, including the evolving nature of digital identities, social media's impact on political discourse (such as online polarization), the economic dimensions of user data monetization, and the ethical implications of AI-driven content. Synthesizing empirical studies, data analytics, and expert opinions, this book offers a prospective approach, moving beyond current analyses to anticipate future trends. It provides practical recommendations for navigating the digital world and equips readers with the knowledge to critically analyze the evolving digital landscape.

Mobile Agents Control Algorithms written by Joachim Baumann and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006-12-31 with Computers categories.
In this monograph, Joachim Baumann provides in-depth coverage of essential research issues; namely, mechanisms for locating and terminating mobile agents and for orphan detection in a mobile agent system. The reader will gain insights into the design and implementation of three control mechanisms for use in mobile agent systems: the energy concept, the path concept, and the shadow concept. The author examines these mechanisms and offers a solid argument as to why they would be better choices over existing mechanisms with respect to message complexity, migration delay, and availability. All in all, this book is an outstanding contribution to advancing the science of mobile agents and it will help the community better understand how to tame mobile agents.

Innovative Algorithms and Techniques in Automation, Industrial Electronics and Telecommunications includes a set of rigorously reviewed world-class manuscripts addressing and detailing state-of-the-art research projects in the areas of Industrial Electronics, Technology & Automation, Telecommunications and Networking. Innovative Algorithms and Techniques in Automation, Industrial Electronics and Telecommunications includes selected papers form the conference proceedings of the International Conference on Industrial Electronics, Technology & Automation (IETA 2006) and International Conference on Telecommunications and Networking (TeNe 06) which were part of the International Joint Conferences on Computer, Information and Systems Sciences and Engineering (CISSE 2006). All aspects of the conference were managed on-line; not only the reviewing, submissions and registration processes; but also the actual conference. Conference participants - authors, presenters and attendees - only needed an internet connection and sound available on their computers in order to be able to contribute and participate in this international ground-breaking conference. The on-line structure of this high-quality event allowed academic professionals and industry participants to contribute work and attend world-class technical presentations based on rigorously refereed submissions, live, without the need for investing significant travel funds or time out of the office. Suffice to say that CISSE received submissions from more than 70 countries, for whose researchers, this opportunity presented a much more affordable, dynamic and well-planned event to attend and submit their work to, versus a classic, on-the-ground conference. The CISSE conference audio room provided superb audio even over low speed internet connections, the ability to display PowerPoint presentations, and cross-platform compatibility (the conferencing softwareruns on Windows, Mac, and any other operating system that supports Java). In addition, the conferencing system allowed for an unlimited number of participants, which in turn granted CISSE the opportunity to allow all participants to attend all presentations, as opposed to limiting the number of available seats for each session.

Big Data A New Medium written by Natasha Lushetich and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-11-26 with Computers categories.
Drawing on a range of methods from across science and technology studies, digital humanities and digital arts, this book presents a comprehensive view of the big data phenomenon. Big data architectures are increasingly transforming political questions into technical management by determining classificatory systems in the social, educational, and healthcare realms. Data, and their multiple arborisations, have become new epistemic landscapes. They have also become new existential terrains. The fundamental question is: can big data be seen as a new medium in the way photography or film were when they first appeared? No new medium is ever truly new. It’s always remediation of older media. What is new is the medium’s re-articulation of the difference between here and there, before and after, yours and mine, knowable and unknowable, possible and impossible. This transdisciplinary volume, incorporating cultural and media theory, art, philosophy, history, and political philosophy is a key resource for readers interested in digital humanities, cultural, and media studies.
