Neue Managementinstrumente, wie z. B. die Balanced Scorecard, unterstützen diesen Prozess durch den Einsatz von Kennzahlen. Heute werden häufig leicht zu quantifizierende Kennzahlen herangezogen; Wechselwirkungen - speziell durch das Interagieren von Personen auf unterschiedlichen Hierarchieebenen - bleiben weitgehend unberücksichtigt. In diesem Beitrag wird aufgezeigt, dass auch Größen, die nur schwer oder nicht zu quantifizieren sind, wie z. B. die Vorgesetzten-Mitarbeiter-Beziehung, wichtige Regelgrößen darstellen. Weiterhin wird verdeutlicht, welche Kennzahlen zur Beschreibung dieser Abhängigkeit eingesetzt werden können, welche Probleme bei der Ermittlung der Kennzahlen auftreten und wie Informationen zum Anstoßen eines Lernprozesses gewonnen werden können. Dieser Beitrag stellt ein Instrumentarium vor, welches es ermöglicht, Auswirkungen komplexer Sachverhalte wie die Vorgesetzen- Mitarbeiter-Beziehung in Organisationseinheiten zu analysieren.
