Over the past three years, the landscape of blockchain technology has undergone remarkable transformation, extending far beyond its association with cryptocurrencies especially with the emergence of Web3 applications. Web 3.0 is built using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the semantic web. It uses all this to process and interpret information with human-like intelligence. And for security, Web 3.0 uses the blockchain security system to keep information secure. This book aims to provide an overview of the evolution of blockchain technology, highlighting its expanding use cases and exploring the latest trends and news that have shaped the blockchain landscape in recent years. The timing of this book is ideal. NFTs, DeFi, and in general the emergence of the architectural concept of "Web3" are defining and will define the future of web applications. The book takes the reader on a journey across the innovative use cases of blockchain technology, with a focus on building the technical foundation of such applications, in order to enable entrepreneurs and blockchain architects to create state-of-the-art Web3 solutions.

Blockchain Technology (BCT) is explored as a substantial part of the next generation of the Internet affecting business models in e-business. This book explores the application of BCT in e-business focusing on the value creation. The research objective is to examine how and why BCT is used in e-business value chains. This objective is reached through a pragmatic multimethod approach combining four studies. Study 1 summarises the state-of-the-art of approaches to assess a BCT fit for a particular scenario and outlines shortcomings resulting from these approaches. Study 2 provides empirical insights into the usage of BCT in four e-business value chains based on the cases Theta (content), OpenBazaar (commerce), Presearch (context), and Crypviser (connection). Study 3 deepens the insights in the e-commerce value chain. By means of a qualitative content analysis of news articles, various BCT application domains for each e-commerce activity are presented. Study 4 narrows the perspective of analysis to e-negotiations, proposes a BC-based negotiation support system and examines its opportunities and challenges. Finally, an integrative discussion of the findings results in two explanations how BCT is applied in e-business.

Patterns Of Enterprise Application Architecture written by Martin Fowler and has been published by Addison-Wesley this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-03-09 with Computers categories.
The practice of enterprise application development has benefited from the emergence of many new enabling technologies. Multi-tiered object-oriented platforms, such as Java and .NET, have become commonplace. These new tools and technologies are capable of building powerful applications, but they are not easily implemented. Common failures in enterprise applications often occur because their developers do not understand the architectural lessons that experienced object developers have learned. Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture is written in direct response to the stiff challenges that face enterprise application developers. The author, noted object-oriented designer Martin Fowler, noticed that despite changes in technology--from Smalltalk to CORBA to Java to .NET--the same basic design ideas can be adapted and applied to solve common problems. With the help of an expert group of contributors, Martin distills over forty recurring solutions into patterns. The result is an indispensable handbook of solutions that are applicable to any enterprise application platform. This book is actually two books in one. The first section is a short tutorial on developing enterprise applications, which you can read from start to finish to understand the scope of the book's lessons. The next section, the bulk of the book, is a detailed reference to the patterns themselves. Each pattern provides usage and implementation information, as well as detailed code examples in Java or C#. The entire book is also richly illustrated with UML diagrams to further explain the concepts. Armed with this book, you will have the knowledge necessary to make important architectural decisions about building an enterprise application and the proven patterns for use when building them. The topics covered include · Dividing an enterprise application into layers · The major approaches to organizing business logic · An in-depth treatment of mapping between objects and relational databases · Using Model-View-Controller to organize a Web presentation · Handling concurrency for data that spans multiple transactions · Designing distributed object interfaces

Future Proof Software Systems written by Frank J. Furrer and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2019-09-25 with Computers categories.
This book focuses on software architecture and the value of architecture in the development of long-lived, mission-critical, trustworthy software-systems. The author introduces and demonstrates the powerful strategy of “Managed Evolution,” along with the engineering best practice known as “Principle-based Architecting.” The book examines in detail architecture principles for e.g., Business Value, Changeability, Resilience, and Dependability. The author argues that the software development community has a strong responsibility to produce and operate useful, dependable, and trustworthy software. Software should at the same time provide business value and guarantee many quality-of-service properties, including security, safety, performance, and integrity. As Dr. Furrer states, “Producing dependable software is a balancing act between investing in the implementation of business functionality and investing in the quality-of-service properties of the software-systems.” The book presents extensive coverage of such concepts as: Principle-Based Architecting Managed Evolution Strategy The Future Principles for Business Value Legacy Software Modernization/Migration Architecture Principles for Changeability Architecture Principles for Resilience Architecture Principles for Dependability The text is supplemented with numerous figures, tables, examples and illustrative quotations. Future-Proof Software-Systems provides a set of good engineering practices, devised for integration into most software development processes dedicated to the creation of software-systems that incorporate Managed Evolution.
