Two Men Joined By Fate… Asher and Kiaran were joined at birth by the dying decree of the Dragon King―literally. Asher had his own bit of magic as a 3,000 year old immortal, and Kiaran was his dragon shifter. Out in society, Kiaran was a part of Asher―absorbed into Asher’s body―only being able to separate in dragon form. At their birth home, the two men could exist apart from each other as men. They protected each other and would until their dying breath if it ever came to that. They shared everything…that is until Essie came along…. Essie was doing her best to hide from a mother that didn’t even recognize her own daughter. The witch had poisoned her with a scratch, and if Essie wasn’t healed soon, she’d die…. Sick or not, she didn’t want anything to do with that handsome, overbearing barbarian, Asher, nor that rude dragon that protected him. She was doing just fine on her own. But Asher had other things on his mind and, after a while, brings Essie around to his way of thinking and makes her his wife, but Kiaran brought up a valid point―Essie was his mate too…. Could Essie find it in her heart to love both men equally? To share the bed of both―together? Asher’s five brothers and their dragons watched the scenario unfold with bated breaths. The subject had never been broached, and all their futures hung on the outcome….

Teens waging a war of practical jokes declare peace when they fall for one another in this charming YA romantic comedy from Jessica Pennington. They have a love-hate relationship with summer. Sidney and Asher should have clicked. Two star swimmers forced to spend their summers on a lake together sounds like the perfect match. But it’s the same every year—in between cookouts and boat rides and family-imposed bonfires, Sidney and Asher spend the dog days of summer finding the ultimate ways to prank each other. And now, after their senior year, they’re determined to make it the most epic yet. But their plans are thrown in sudden jeopardy when their feud causes their families to be kicked out of their beloved lake houses. Once in their new accommodations, Sidney expects the prank war to continue as usual. But then she gets a note—Meet me at midnight. And Asher has a proposition for her: join forces for one last summer of epic pranks, against a shared enemy—the woman who kicked them out. Their truce should make things simpler, but six years of tormenting one another isn’t so easy to ignore. Kind of like the undeniable attraction growing between them. Asher and Stacey’s Magnificent Road Trip is a story about a mother and son on a road trip along the Pacific Coast of Southern California. Asher is a nineteen-year-old child/teen/man who is diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy and a visual impairment rendering him nonverbal, wheelchair bound and visually impaired. Stacey is his devoted mother and a neuropsychologist who specializes in the assessment of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Along the way, Asher and Stacey experience some unique challenges encompassing physical, mental and spiritual realms, some of which are absolutely ridiculous and almost too hard to believe and some that are truly heart wrenching. Asher and Stacey also cross paths with a variety of characters, some of whom are completely clueless about how to be around someone with disabilities and others who are friendly, kind and share a piece of their bright spirit. Since Stacey is all alone with her son, who is twice her size, just getting Asher onto a hotel bed or showering him without the help of her husband turns into a comedy of errors in a "I Love Lucy" kind of way. Somehow, they each survive this quirky road trip in one piece but their love and understanding for each other evolves to the deepest level that a mother and son could ever aspire to. . . If you read this book, you'll find out!

Essays and criticism that span Michael Asher's career, documenting site-specific installations and institutional interventions. During a career that spanned more than forty years, from the late 1960s until his death in 2012, Michael Asher created site-specific installations and institutional interventions that examined the conditions of art's production, display, and reception. At the Art Institute of Chicago, for example, he famously relocated a bronze replica of an eighteenth-century sculpture of George Washington from the museum's entrance to an interior gallery, thereby highlighting the disjunction between the statue's symbolic function as a public monument and its aesthetic origins as an artwork. Today, Asher is celebrated as one of the forerunners of institutional critique. Yet because of Asher's situation-based method of working, and his resistance to making objects that could circulate in the art market, few of his works survive in physical form. What does survive is writing by scholars and critics about his diverse practice. The essays in this volume document projects that range from Asher's environmental works and museum displacements to his research-based presentations and reflections on urban space.
