Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich Musik - Sonstiges, Note: 1,7, Universität Paderborn, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Hausarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der unterstützenden Wirkung von Bewegung für den musikalischen Lernprozess. Noch bis circa 1960 herrschte die Auffassung, der Vokalunterricht müsse im Musikunterricht eine Vorrangstellung haben. Das Singen als wichtigste Handlung des Musikunterrichts sollte die Auseinandersetzung mit verschiedenartigem Liedgut fördern. Die musikalische Umwelt war in dieser Zeit geprägt durch volkstümliche beziehungsweise geistliche Lieder, welche vom Musiklehrer selbst vorgetragen wurden. Die Entwicklung der Aufnahme- und Wiedergabetechnik und die Verbreitung von Musik durch Rundfunk und andere Medien hat die Lernsituation für Schülerinnen und Schüler (SuS) jedoch verändert. Die SuS sind nicht mehr davon abhängig das zu hören, was der Musiklehrer reproduziert. Ein so entstehendes, vielfältiges Musikangebot lässt sich nicht ausschließlich mit der vokalen Wiedergabe erschließen. Der Musikunterricht musste dementsprechend auf die Veränderungen mit angepassten Lernmethoden reagieren. In der heutigen Zeit hat sich die Lebensumwelt von Kindern auffallend verändert. Bewegungsmöglichkeiten sind eingeschränkt vorhanden bzw. werden weniger genutzt. Man liest und hört viel darüber, dass Kinder sich zu wenig bewegen und Bewegungserziehung eine immer geringe Rolle spielt. Laut dem Kinderschutzbund NRW ist der Mangel an körperlicher Aktivität mittlerweile ein bedrohliches Problem der gesamten Gesellschaft geworden. Dieser Bewegungsmangel führt nicht nur zu unzureichender, körperlicher Fitness, sondern auch zu eingeschränkter Kreativität und Leistungsfähigkeit. Als Ursache dieser Situation benennt der Kinderschutzbund NRW vor allem die Verkleinerung der Spiel und Bewegungsräume für Kinder durch zunehmende Urbanisierung und steigenden Straßenverkehr sowie die zunehmnde Nutzung elektronischer Medien. Die Lebensräume von Kindern unterliegen demnach einem starken strukturellen Wandel.
