La visual literacy in quanto capacità di un uso appropriato delle informazioni trasmesse attraverso le immagini è divenuta non solo una competenza chiave di chi apprende bensì anche una competenza didattica di chi insegna. Ulrike Reeg lehrt Deutsche Sprachwissenschaft an der Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind: Interkulturelle Kommunikation, Literatur- und Sprachdidaktik (Deutsch als Fremdsprache), Tendenzen der deutschen Gegenwartssprache, Mehrsprachigkeit. Pasquale Gallo lehrt Deutsche Literatur an der Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind: Deutsche Literatur der Aufklärung, DDR-Literatur, deutschsprachige Interkulturelle Literatur. This publication of the Common European Framework of Reference for Visual Literacy is the first transnational and European description of the area of learning of 'Visual Literacy'. The models and concepts are based on empirical research. They have been developed between 2014 and 2016 by subject specialists across Europe and they are an important instrument for the future development of competency-based curricula, the assessment of learning, the construction of tasks, teacher training, and the development of teaching materials.
