Savvy companies recognize the value of a strong community. Think of Nike and its community of runners, Nike+, and you’ll quickly understand that creating and fostering an online community around a product or brand is a powerful way to boost marketing efforts, gain valuable insight into consumers, increase revenue, improve consumer loyalty, and enhance customer service efforts. Companies now have the unprecedented opportunity to integrate their brand’s messaging into the everyday lives of their target audiences. But while supporting the growth of online communities should be at the top of every company’s priority list, all too often it falls by the wayside. That’s why brand strategy expert and digital marketer Lauren Perkins wrote The Community Manager’s Playbook (#CMplaybook on Twitter), a must-read guide for business and brand builders who need to strengthen their approach to online B2C community management and customer engagement. As Perkins explains, if companies want to create thriving online communities focused on their product or brand, they must do more than simply issue a few tweets a day, create (and then abandon) a Facebook page, and blog every once in a while. Instead, organizations of all sizes must treat community management as a central component of their overall marketing strategy. When they do, they will be rewarded handsomely with greater brand awareness, increased customer use and retention, lower acquisition costs, and a tribe of consumers who can’t wait to purchase their next product. Perkins not only teaches readers how to build an engaging community strategy from the ground up, but she also provides them with the tactical community management activities they need to acquire and retain customers, create compelling content, and track their results along the way. Distinctive in its comprehensive, step-by-step approach to creating online communities that are fully consistent with a company’s existing brand voice, The Community Manager’s Playbook: Explains how excellent community management provides a competitive advantage with a large impact on sales Provides an in-depth overview of brand and business alignment Teaches readers how to identify their community's online target audience and influence their needs and wants Details the appropriate online channels through which content should be distributed Champions the use of an agile approach through repeated testing to maximize the return on every company investment Discusses the many diverse metrics that can be used to measure community scope Today, there is no brand strategy without a community strategy. Companies that are not developing communities are losing control of their brands and missing opportunities to optimize their marketing investments. With The Community Manager’s Playbook as their guide, however, marketing professionals and the companies and brands they represent will be equipped with the tools they need to manage their online marketing efforts, engage their core customers at every level, leverage community insights into the product development cycle, and ensure that their messaging is heard across all corners of the digital landscape.

If you want to discover how to build your brand and establish brand loyalty on social media for more sales, then keep reading... Did you know: -The brand worth the most in the entire world is Alphabet—better known as Google, and it`s worth $286 billion. -It takes 5 to 7 impressions to produce a fragment of brand awareness. -It takes just 10 seconds for people to form an impression of your brand. When people see the most popular brands, they form a mental shortcut associating their brands to the qualities the company's products and services are known for. Brand Metrics written by Jacek Kall and has been published by Taylor & Francis this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-09-08 with Business & Economics categories.

This book gathers and explains the key brand analysis tools that measure brand effectiveness and awareness along the customer journey. Rather than considering how to build and manage a brand, Brand Metrics shows students the methods by which they can assess the current market position of the brand and design effective strategies for the future. Each chapter follows the same logical and accessible structure, defining each metric and its usage, presenting the calculations, showing how the data should be interpreted, offering case studies and examples, presenting recommendations and offering questions for further discussion. The metrics covered in the book correspond with the customer journey, moving through measuring brand awareness, consideration and purchase, to customer loyalty and brand advocacy, and finally an overall analysis of the brand’s strength. The book not only shows the formula for a metric and explains how it should be interpreted, but also considers what each metric really measures, how it impacts the brand’s equity and how it is related to other metrics. As such it should be perfect recommended reading for advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students of Strategic Brand Management, Marketing Planning and Strategy, Marketing and Branding Metrics.

The main objective of this book is to help you understand the idiosyncrasies of the brand and its strategic management in the company. With this end in mind, it has been divided into two blocks, as detailed below. Chapters 1 to 5 form the first block, which offers a framework based on the conceptualization, types and need to promote the brand. From there, brand equity and brand capital are studied in terms of concepts, characteristics and perspectives of analysis. Once stipulated, the main models of brand equity and brand capital proposed in the literature are detailed, deciphering the elements most commonly accepted in subsequent research and in the business field. Finally, these key elements are described, analyzing their characteristics, measurement indicators and strategic implications for the company. Chapters 6 and 7 form the second block, which provides a clear view of the concept and importance of the discipline of branding, as well as the need to understand how the human brain and heart work together with the soul of brands. From there, the importance of creating a brand culture in the organization is explained, emphasizing the commitment to the firm as a flag and developing an appropriate organizational structure to carry out the process of managing brands. Next, the importance of strategic management is examined, defining a proposal for a branding plan. Finally, we analyse the new trends developed in terms of brand, highlighting the importance of digital integration, the empowerment of human capital and the creation of virtual communities associated with it.

Nivea What Makes The Brand So Successful written by Tugba Seckin and has been published by GRIN Verlag this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-09-16 with Business & Economics categories.

Essay from the year 2011 in the subject Communications - Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, Social Media, grade: Distinction 87%, University of Exeter (Business School), course: Msc International Management - Brand Communication, language: English, abstract: The brand name NIVEA is familiar to many people from childhood onwards. However, not many people know the actual meaning of the name NIVEA. The name comes from the Latin adjective “niveus/NIVEA/niveum” meaning snow-white. NIVEA was invented in 1911 and celebrates its 100th Anniversary this year. In that time the original blue tin packaging of the cream has changed its appearance (Appendix 1), but the actual formulation has changed very little since its first launch. According to Interbrand (2011a) NIVEA is one of the top 100 best global brands with a brand value of $3,734m. Additionally, in Reader's Digest Trusted Brands annual consumer survey (2011) NIVEA has been voted the most trusted brand for the last five years in 15 out of 16 European countries (Appendix 2). With a brand awareness of 99% (Appendix 3) in Germany, there can be no doubt that NIVEA is a success story (Gruner and Jahr, 1994 cited in Marketingverein, 1997). The research questions addressed by this essay are how NIVEA became the market leader, and how it has kept increasing its market share over the years to hold that market position successfully. The first part will analyse NIVEA’s brand identity and visual identity. The author has decided to concentrate on these brand elements because creation of a strong corporate identity is crucial for companies in gaining a competitive advantage. This is followed by a brief discussion of NIVEA as a mother brand and the management of its umbrella brands. The last part will examine the factors that have made NIVEA’s success sustainable over such a long period. Finally, an evaluation will be made of the brand, and a conclusion will summarise the main findings.
