This uneven collection of essays on the international aspects of the conflict in Southern Africa brings together seven contributions by authors with quite different political perspectives. In "One Namibia, one nation: the political economy of transition" (p. 92-122), R.H. Green focuses on the colonial economy and the transitional period from a position close to SWAPO.
