Generally speaking, everything sings because of being abused. Grass and woods have no sound; they sing only when the wind interferes. Water has no sound of its own; it is the wind that makes it sing. It is jumping, skipping, running only because it was driven, stopped, or heated. Stone has no sound; it sings only when it is beaten.Speech with man is the same. He speaks only because he has to. There are thoughts in his song and he tells his story when he cries. Whatever sounds come out of the mouth must all have their reasons. Music, so to speak, is the sound expressed without from what¿s within. And it chooses the best instruments to sing for its soul. Metal, stone, string, bamboo, earthenware, leather, wood, pipes are the capable singers for nature. (The Chinese believe the internal organs have an urge to express. Only the proper instruments related to the internal organs can extend and express their need in music). So nature treats its seasons, chooses its most skillful singers to express the time of year. Birds have been sent to sing in spring, thunder in summer, insects in autumn, and wind in winter. The four seasons push each other on. Each expresses all creation with its complaints in song.

Living with chronic illness can make life seem like a steep mountain climb. How do you find the strength to climb on and face each day with pain and suffering? Finding Joy on the Mountain Climb is a story of encouragement and hope, enriched with scripture and prayer. Written during a chronic illness battle, Arnold-Grine shares how a deep personal relationship with God helped her take One Step at a Time. She also includes 40 days of inspirational devotions from her health blog to help find purpose, peace and comfort in the battle. Discover how God will carry you through a struggle and equip you for the climb in her testimony: Every day with chronic illness I must take up my cross and follow where God leads me up this mountain. My hand is in His - the only way I want to travel this difficult journey. It has brought me to a deeper relationship with God, and through it I wish to share my story of hope and offer encouragement to others. The focus is not on the mountain climb, but on the Lord getting me to the "summit" to praise Him and finding joy in the journey by leaning heavily on Him. Inspired by Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God," I take one step at a time with Him. It is within the battle that we find ourselves committed to what matters most. As I lean not on my own understanding, God offers peace and light to pave my pathway. He gives strength for the journey and carries me. Give me Jesus for the journey, and as I walk closely with Him, may He bless others through me. It is my prayer that this story encourages others to praise God on the mountain climb.

Climb That Mountain is a guidebook for your personal journey. Are you lost, stuck, or off track? What do synchronicity, the universe, angels and intuition have to do with you? Would it be worth letting go of anger, hate, blame, fear and co-dependency? Have you ever tried journaling, visualization, meditation, or saying affirmations? Have you checked on your choices, plans, goals and dreams lately? Do you pay attention to your thoughts, listen in order to hear, take responsibility for your life, use your time wisely and refrain from judging others? Did you know that you are a soul with a body, as opposed to a body with a soul? Can you believe that you are never alone, that you have a support-circle and a trust-team? How is your gratitude attitude? Are you living in the now, or are you stuck in the past? Do you have healthy boundaries? Do you realize that there are no mistakes in life, only lessons? Can you accept that someone else doesn't need to change you do? Do you know that we are here in Earth School to learn, heal and grow? My life was once devoid of hope, direction, and joy. Today my life is on track. Climb That Mountain will gently guide you too!

What Kind of Relationship Can You Have with Someone You Fear? For most of us, fear is something we try to avoid. And fearing God hardly sounds like an occasion for joy. But Jerry Bridges shows how the fear of the Lord is actually the key that opens the door to a life of true knowledge, wisdom, blessing, and joy. We all want a deeper, more intimate relationship with God–one that’s characterized by joy. But how does fearing God lead to joy? After all, aren’t we supposed to love Him and live in intimate relationship with Him? Jerry Bridges explores this paradox as he unpacks the biblical promise that God delights in those who fear Him. Join him as he unveils the awesome greatness of God–His incredible holiness, deep wisdom, and especially His inspiring love. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of who God is that will draw you into a truly biblical, and surprisingly delightful, fear of God–a fear that includes your own genuine, heartfelt delight in God. You’ll make the startling discovery that the fear of the Lord, far from being something to avoid, is the key to joyful, fulfilling, and genuine intimacy with God. It can change your relationship with God and change your life! Discover the surprising Joy of Fearing God!
