Dans le domaine electrique, les fonctions de Transport et de Distribution Publique assurent le transit de l'energie electrique entre les points de production et les points de consommation au niveau de tout le pays. Le poste MT/MT en distribution publique assure le passage entre deux niveaux MT. De tels postes MT/MT integrent des transformateurs.
