C’è la suora stalker, il sacerdote omicida, quello che scappa dopo aver provocato un incidente, il ladro che ruba i soldi delle offerte, storie di truffe, bancarotte, appropriazioni indebite. C’è l’omosessualità, che per la Chiesa resta un peccato da espiare lontano da occhi indiscreti. C’è il prete affetto da ludopatia e quello ossessionato dai siti porno. Una minoranza, certo. Ma molto numerosa. Tutta colpa del diavolo, dice la Chiesa, come documenta l’ultima parte di questa inchiesta, dedicata alle scuole di esorcismo in Italia e alle cerimonie di liberazione dal “maligno” a cui gli autori hanno partecipato di persona. Se questa è la realtà dietro agli appelli e alle battaglie di papa Francesco, se questo è il Vaticano, difficile che qualcosa possa davvero cambiare.
