This book highlights the importance of surface nanomaterials for analytical applications and diagnostics. As widely been stated, surface is the base for all downstream analytical applications and the incorporation of additional material to form a hybrid makes a drastic improvement in the performance of the surfaces. Even though, metallic hybrid materials play a pivotal role, non-metallic and metallic hybrid materials yield new avenues. Characterization of these hybrid nanomaterials provides a detailed insight, which attests to new inventions and novel materials. Hybrid nanomaterials are characterized by analytical systems and to generate the analytical systems hybrid materials are essential. The potential of hybrid nanomaterials exists within various interdisciplinary sciences including medicine, which this book presents.

Techno Societal 2016 written by Prashant M. Pawar and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-06-16 with Technology & Engineering categories.
This volume originates from the proceedings of a multidisciplinary conference, Techno-Societal 2016 in Maharashtra, India, that brings together faculty members of various engineering colleges to solve Indian regional relevant problems under the guidance of eminent researchers from various reputed organizations. The focus is on technologies that help develop and improve society, in particular on issues such as the betterment of differently abled people, environment impact, livelihood, rural employment, agriculture, healthcare, energy, transport, sanitation, water, education. This conference aims to help innovators to share their best practices or products developed to solve specific local problems which in turn may help the other researchers to take inspiration to solve problems in their region. On the other hand, technologies proposed by expert researchers may find applications in different regions. This back and forth process for local-global interaction will help in solving local problems by global approach and help in solving global problems by improving local conditions.

Matrix Inequalities For Iterative Systems written by Hanjo Taubig and has been published by CRC Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-02-03 with Mathematics categories.
The book reviews inequalities for weighted entry sums of matrix powers. Applications range from mathematics and CS to pure sciences. It unifies and generalizes several results for products and powers of sesquilinear forms derived from powers of Hermitian, positive-semidefinite, as well as nonnegative matrices. It shows that some inequalities are valid only in specific cases. How to translate the Hermitian matrix results into results for alternating powers of general rectangular matrices? Inequalities that compare the powers of the row and column sums to the row and column sums of the matrix powers are refined for nonnegative matrices. Lastly, eigenvalue bounds and derive results for iterated kernels are improved.

Textile Based Advanced Materials written by Thomas Bechtold and has been published by MDPI this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-03-17 with Science categories.
Developments in the science and technology of textiles are not only limited to apparel and fashion. Certainly, there are research efforts aimed at improving the construction and processing of textiles for clothing—such as studies on cleaner production to reduce environmental impact, increasing the utilization of fibers and process chemicals from renewable resources, and on the recycling of materials from post-consumer waste apparel back into the manufacturing of new clothing articles. In addition, technological concepts developed for the creation of clothing over the centuries are now being investigated for use in a diverse array of fields—such as in the manufacture of engineering composites, personal protective equipment, and medicine. Further, developments in other fields—such as electronics, nanotechnology, and information and communication technologies—are being investigated for their incorporation into apparel and clothing to create “smart textiles”. The aim of this Special Issue is to put together a collection of scientific reports on such efforts to highlight the range of scientific and technological issues that are being targeted and the ingenuity of the methodologies employed to find answers. It is hoped that readers of this issue will come away with an appreciation of the research being conducted in this area, and perhaps gain inspiration for their own scientific endeavors.
