Die Bedeutung von Diversity Management werde ich an Hand der Entwicklung und aktueller Trends in Deutschland sowie rechtlichen Hintergründen erläutern, um anschließend zu aufzuzeigen, wie man diesen Management-Ansatz erfolgreich im Unternehmen einführt. Hierbei werde ich besonders auf die Aufgaben des Personalbereichs eingehen. Nach einer detaillierten Analyse potentieller Risiken und Chancen werde ich die Einführung zusammenfassend am Beispiel von Ford Deutschland beschreiben, das als erstes deutsches Unternehmen Diversity eingeführt hat und mit dem Erfolg rundum zufrieden ist.
