"All children, except one, grow up" this is how Peter Pan's story starts. We all know how the story is but: What if he isn't the hero what we know? What if Wendy would stay in Neverland with Peter? What if Tinkerbell, suddenly left? What if Captain Hook were not an evil old man? What if Nibs, Tootles, Slightly, Curly and the Twins weren't the first lost children? What if Peter is more a "king" than a hero? What if this king is far from righteous and kind? What if the fling boy show us his darkest side? When Wendy Darling met Peter Pan, she couldn't help to fall for the famous flying boy. Many readers of this modern fairy tale have imagined they both ending up together. In this story this actually happens, but no in the way Wendy (or us) wanted it. After being taken hostage, Neverland has become a nightmare for the storyteller. Alone, with her brothers growing up without her, acting as a mother for the lost children while forced to be Peter's girlfriend, incapable to fly due to her state of mind and stuck in a place controlled by the guy who ruined her life. This is the true story of Wendy Moira Angela Darling. The tell of how we find hope in the most unexpected places and people. Born on September 26th, 2001 in Santiago, Chile. Florencia Silva always had a great passion for the arts and literature, acting and writing from quite a young age. She became notable for her storytelling clips on the platform Tik Tok, reaching millions of viewers with her re-imaginations of the magical Neverland, where she's changing the course of the famous flying boy's story. She currently lives with her family in Santiago, where she's studying drama at the Catholic University of Chile.

The Myth Of Accountability written by Eric S. Glover and has been published by Rowman & Littlefield this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013 with Education categories.

School improvement that is reliant on accountability is a myth based upon falsehoods and wrong assumptions. Public educations' increased dependence on this foundation for school reform and change has failed both students and teachers. The fact remains that people who create education policy do not understand what is best for individual students and classrooms. Their devised curriculum standards are, in actuality, curriculum limits that prevent students from creating successful personal and academic futures because they thwart any natural learning exploration. As such, these market-inspired, externally-motivated standards limit higher-level learning. Instead of treating students and teachers as subjects to be actively engaged in learning, accountability systems treat students and teachers like objects to be manipulated by training. By presenting the lead-teach-learn triad, Eric Glover's The Myth of Accountability discusses the pitfalls of accountability systems in schools, while also investigating how schools have somehow managed to improve in spite of their negative influences. In order to evolve school reform, Glover introduces the concept of developmental empowerment in order to frame how school participants must view themselves as perpetually changing learners and systematically update school reform. Through open inquiry, Glover encourages educators to challenge the standardization and accountability practices that limit children's futures.

Eternal Youth And The Myth Of Deconstruction written by Bret Alderman and has been published by Taylor & Francis this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-12-06 with Psychology categories.

In Eternal Youth and the Myth of Deconstruction, Bret Alderman puts forth a compelling thesis: Deconstruction tells a mythic story. Through an attentive examination of multiple texts and literary works, he elucidates this story in psychological and philosophical terms. Deconstruction, the method of philosophical and literary analysis originated by Jacques Derrida, arises from what Carl Jung called “a kind of readiness to produce over and over again the same or similar mythical ideas.” In the case of deconstruction, such ideas bear a striking resemblance to a figure that Jungian and Post-Jungian writers refer to as the puer aeternus or eternal youth. To make his case, in addition to a careful analysis of numerous Derridean texts, he offers readings of literary works by Milan Kundera, J.M. Barrie, Dante, Apuleius, and others. These texts help illustrate that deconstruction’s preoccupations over questions of presence, deferral, authority, limits, time, and representation are also recurrent issues for the eternal youth as described by Marie-Louise Von Franz and James Hillman. Judith Butler’s deconstruction of sex and gender reflects similar patterns, and she features in this work as a contemporary exemplar of the deconstructive approach. Eternal Youth and the Myth of Deconstruction will be a compelling read for both students and teachers of depth psychology and continental philosophy. The clarity of its style will be appealing to advanced scholars and educated laypersons alike.
