O livro "Espaço e tempo da Educação Integral em Campinas: narrativas da EMEFEI Padre Francisco Silva é uma coletânea de textos produzidos por docentes, estudantes e familiares para narrar a experiência do Projeto de Educação Integral implementado nessa escola no ano de 2014. Diante os desafios diários desse processo, nos encontros de Trabalho Docente de Formação (TDF), nós professoras (e professores homens em minoria) fomos estimuladas(os) a narrar nossas histórias vividas no cotidiano escolar. Nesse momento contamos com pessoas que foram nossas parceiras nessa caminhada, trazendo luz e também provocações ao nosso trabalho, mas fundamentalmente, alimentando sonhos. Já havia o desejo da escrita de um livro em que pudéssemos divulgar, promover a reflexão sobre o papel e importância do docente no processo de construção, implementação e fortalecimento do projeto. Em 2015, iniciamos a escrita de textos coletivamente a partir de grandes temas e retomamos a ideia das narrativas pedagógicas como elemento importante no desvelar do vivido no nosso dia-a-dia em que ensinamos aprendemos muito com as crianças. As narrativas encontradas neste livro revelam o vínculo com os princípios orientadores do trabalho dessa escola de Educação Integral nos seis anos iniciais dessa experiência, de 2013 a 2018. Falam da elaboração de seu projeto até o término do ciclo de aprendizagem do 1o ao 5o ano do Ensino Fundamental Integral da primeira turma de estudantes que ingressou em 2014. Tivemos pausas, desencontros, outros encontros e agora convidamos você a conhecer nossa história.
