Das vorliegende Buch widmet sich dem Thema "Die Ukraine und die Europ ische Union: Stand und Perspektiven bilateraler Beziehungen." Die Gliederung des Werkes umfasst sechs Kapitel. Zun chst wird einleitend auf die vertragsrechtlichen Grundlagen sowie den institutionellen Rahmen der EU-Ukraine-Beziehungen eingegangen. Des Weiteren werden die Folgen der Verschiebung der EU-Au engrenze Richtung Osten unter besonderer Ber cksichtigung der Erweiterung des Schengen-Raums f r die Bev lkerung auf beiden Seiten dargestellt. Anschlie end wird gepr ft, unter welchen Bedingungen der Ukraine die Mitgliedschaftsperspektive in der EU gew hrt werden kann.
