Este livro traz à tona reflexões acerca do Estágio Supervisionado de Língua Portuguesa e suas respectivas Literaturas. Para esse fim, tem-se como objetivo investigar a formação inicial dos professores de Língua Portuguesa, por meio das relações estabelecidas nos pressupostos teórico-acadêmicos e a prática pedagógica durante o Estágio Supervisionado. O estudo teve como colaboradores quatro professores aprendizes e uma professora supervisora de uma Instituição Pública do estado do Tocantins. As análises revelaram que a articulação entre teoria e prática não deve ser limitada ao processo de aplicação de aspectos teóricos nas escolas laboratórios. Todavia, os saberes vivenciados na licenciatura, bem como as teorias e conteúdos apreendidos durante a formação acadêmica dos professores aprendizes necessitam articular-se com o ambiente ou contexto social no qual eles atuarão, de maneira que os saberes teóricos apropriados estejam sujeitos a modificações e reformulações da prática pedagógica. Ainda, a necessidade de reflexão sobre as vivências (antes, durante e depois do estágio) com o intuito de possibilitar aos professores-aprendizes a ressignificação de suas práticas.
