Pero tambien significa muchas preguntas por responder, por ejemplo, como definir un problema academico? Cuales son sus causas? Son psicologicas? Son producto de los metodos de ensenanza? Corresponden a problemas de adaptacion del estudiante al mundo universitario? Que tienen que ver los colegios en este problema? Se trata de un problema de desarrollo de niveles de pensamiento? Es un problema de desfase entre el nuevo tipo de sociedad que esta surgiendo y las pretensiones universitarias? Estas preguntas, que surgen del seguimiento academico a estudiantes que presentan dificultades academicas en la Universidad, dan origen a este trabajo de investigacion que se desarrollo en el ano 2005. Su objetivo fue analizar el problema del rendimiento academico a partir de la exploracion de variables cognitivas, psicologicas y contextuales en una muestra de estudiantes colombianos en la Universidad."
