…When the author, who is actually a proto-poet, tries to get to know himself better, then he conceives the Ego-poetic volume... …When the same author, who in fact remains a proto-poet, tries to get to know himself better by his Species, then he conceives the Sapiento-poetic volume... …When the same author keeps himself in the forefront of poetry, trying to find out better through his genre Homo Anthropos, then he creates the Anthropo-poetic volume… …In this way, the Ego-poet is generating Sapientopoetry and both in their togetherness are begetting the Anthropo-poetry… …Thus, Genetics Library is a multi- stranded chains of poetry, remembering and resembling the cellular genetic code of all forms of life on our planetary system, synthesized in DNA and RNA… Genetopoetism

Designed as an introductory text the authors cover all core strategies in the application of modern recombinant DNA technology. The first chapters directly address the applications of polymerase chain reaction to a variety of problems in DNA cloning that are, or have been, extremely challenging using more traditional approaches and technologies. These include cDNA cloning and transcript mapping, mutagenesis as well as the cloning of very long transcripts and protocols using limiting amounts of total RNA. Further chapters describe approaches to subtractive cloning technologies as well as novel specialized expression cloning and library screening strategies. The handbook contains detailed step-by-step protocols and extensive hands-on advice.

Encyclopedia Of Human Genetics And Disease 2 Volumes written by Evelyn B. Kelly and has been published by Bloomsbury Publishing USA this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-01-07 with Science categories.

This two-volume encyclopedia examines the history, characteristics, causes, and treatment of genetic disease, as well as the science of genetics itself. Modern science has unlocked many of the mysteries of genetics, providing a blueprint for understanding the origins behind previously mysterious ailments and conditions, both common and uncommon. A complete understanding remains elusive, however: geneticists are still refining theories about what causes chromosomes to mutate, and genetic diseases remain difficult to diagnose and challenging to treat. This fascinating reference explores the scientific and human aspects of this complex field of science. Encyclopedia of Human Genetics and Disease features nearly 400 entries, including well-known genetic diseases, rare and lesser-known genetic diseases, and the genetic factors that may contribute to common diseases and health conditions, such as breast cancer and obesity. The author presents in-depth discussions of concepts essential to understanding genetic disease in 18 entries that provide background on key topics, such as "Genetics 101," the genome and the foundations of genetics, genetic counseling, and newborn screening. Each of the 355 disorders profiled provides the history of the condition, its prevalence, causes, treatment (if any), and further reading. Interesting sidebars and compelling photos that help inform content accompany many entries.

Generation Of Cdna Libraries written by Shao-Yao Ying and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2008-02-03 with Science categories.

Since its invention and subsequent development nearly 20 years ago, po- merase chain reaction (PCR) has been extensively utilized to identify numerous gene probes in vitro and in vivo. However, attempts to generate complete and full-length complementary cDNA libraries were, for the most part, fruitless and remained elusive until the last decade, when simple and rapid methods were developed. With current decoding and potential application of human genome information to genechips, there are urgent needs for identification of functional significance of these decoded gene sequences. Inherent in bringing these app- cations to fruition is the need to generate a complete and full-length cDNA library for potential functional assays of specific gene sequences. Generation of cDNA Libraries: Methods and Protocols serves as a laboratory manual on the evolution of generation of cDNA libraries, covering both ba- ground information and step-by-step practical laboratory recipes for which p- tocols, reagents, operational tips, instrumentation, and other requirements are detailed. The first chapter of the book is an overview of the basics of generating cDNA libraries, which include the following: (a) the definition of a cDNA library, (b) different kinds of cDNA libraries, (c) differences between methods for cDNA library generation using conventional approaches and novel stra- gies, including reverse generation of RNA repertoires from cDNA libraries, and (d) the quality of cDNA libraries.
