BREVE CURRICULUM Pilar Rodríguez Martínez es profesora de Sociología en la Universidad de Almería. Sus trabajos de investigación, que comenzaron en 1996, han girado en torno a las relaciones entre hombres y mujeres, centrándose específicamente en los aspectos relacionados con las mujeres migrantes. Entre sus publicaciones destacan Migrantes y trabajadoras del sexo (Del Blanco, 2004) y, como editora, Feminismos periféricos Alhulia, 2006).

El proceso de mundialización o globalización ha pasado a ocupar un lugar trascendental en todos los debates sociales, políticos, económicos y jurídicos, llevando a posiciones de resistencia activa y pasiva. Esta obra ofrece una visión desde todos los ángulos del Derecho del Trabajo del fenómeno de la expatriación de trabajadores en el actual contexto laboral y de los retos a los cuales este se enfrenta.
