Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Wenn im migrantischen Kontext von Vielfalt gesprochen wird, wird dies in der Gesellschaft als problematisch angesehen, obwohl Migrant*innen einen großen Teil der deutschen Bevölkerung ausmachen. Dies wird so wahrgenommen, da man gesamtgesellschaftlich gesehen der Meinung ist, dass die Gesellschaft nur ein bestimmtes Maß an Differenz aushält. Diese Wahrnehmung ist dadurch begründet, da in Deutschland eine gewisse Homogenisierungserwartung besteht, sprich Deutschland wird vornehmlich, trotz der Vielzahl an Konfessionen und Mehrsprachlichkeit, als einsprachiges und christliches Land aufgefasst. Auch in anderen Teilen der Gesellschaft wird diese homogene Erwartung aufgebrochen, es besteht ein Diskurs dafür, dass Menschen mit Behinderungen immer mehr in Institutionen integriert werden sollten, anstatt in selektiven Einrichtungen zu verweilen. Als Mensch, der sich sowohl im beruflichen als auch privaten Kontext mit diesen Themen auseinandersetzt, sprich welche un- und bewussten Machtverhältnisse es zwischen mir, der Gesellschaft oder auch aversiven Gruppen, und marginalisierten Personengruppen gibt, war es für mich von immenser Bedeutung herauszufinden, wie man langfristig dahingegen arbeiten kann, dass so viele Menschen wie möglich über Tools und Wissen aufgeklärt werden, damit ein respektvoller, wertschätzender und zuvorkommender Umgang zwischen allen diversen Personengruppen gewährleistet werden kann. Daher bin ich, während meiner Recherche, auf den Begriff der Diversitykompetenzen gestoßen und wie man diese in den jeweiligen Settings vermitteln kann. Bevor jedoch eine Vorstellung dessen erfolgt, wie man diese in welchen Institutionen lehren kann, zeige ich zunächst auf, inwiefern sich der Begriff der Diversity entwickelt hat und wie dieser auch Platz in Deutschland gefunden hat. Danach folgt ein kurzer theoretischer Einstieg darin, inwiefern man diese Kompetenzen vermitteln kann. Im Hauptteil gehe ich dann auf die jeweiligen Institutionen Jugendarbeit, wirtschaftliche Unternehmen und den Hochschulkontext ein, inwiefern dort Diversity gelebt und gelehrt wird. Anschließend folgt eine Zusammenfassung meiner Ergebnisse und einen Ausblick darauf, inwiefern man das Thema noch weiter vertiefen könnte.
