This book is intended to provide insights to companies interested in growing and in improving their administrative processes. Usually, we are all thinking about selling, depositing the checks, finding people, shipping products or delivering projects, and the administrative process are for most CEO’s not relevant. Actually, we all heard many CEO’s saying: I don’t care how you do it, but get it done! But the “How To” becomes extremely important to be efficient, have control of the operation, and obtain the right data out of the system. It is too easy to be caught up in the frenzy of the day, chasing people, products, orders, checks, and accounting tends to receive little focus for many. This is why I worked on this book. Every CEO should pay attention that once you did your first few steps as an entrepreneur (getting customers and start operating) there are formalities you need to have in order to guarantee registering all data correctly. Not just for the Department of Revenue or the IRS, but also for you. At the end of the day, the most valuable component in your business is your data. That is why having a secured, efficient and auditable system of record to store your data and be able to exploit that data via KPI’s Dashboards and reports becomes critical for your success. This book is not intended to teach experienced consultant how to implement their ERP. But rather to give the newcomers to the ERP world an insight of that they should do to implement a system successfully. This is not just my opinion, but because I used ChatGPT to write this book, the contents are what it is on the internet available already. I directly the information in order to give it a structure that made sense to me. Most implementation partners already have their own methodology, that is why this books is intended to companies that are planning to implement an ERP for the first time. Many companies put more focus in the Change Management, other ignore it completely. We can’t stress how important it is to have a Project Manager or at least one person responsible for gathering the data and preparing the data and to be the sole point of contact with the partner that is implementing the system with you. Last, I want to give many thanks to Joe Martin and Jose Fernandez Calvo for giving me ideas in how to use GPT-3 OpenAI large-scale language-generation model (aka ChatGPT) and in helping me with the technicalities not related to ERP implementation but rather in publishing this book. I also want to thank the team at Consultare America LLC that cheered when I told them that I was writing this book and encouraged me to finish it

This book is not a technical manual explaining all the nuts-and-bolts details of ERP that must be mastered to successfully implement the technology but is a guide to senior executives, managers, project managers, and project teams to understand the different aspects of an ERP project. An ERP project is far broader than the software technology and it is these other issues that can be the difference between success and failure. This book is based on 35 years of experience of the author, who has worked in organisations all over the world in various capacities and has project-managed ERP projects with varying degrees of success and failure and has analysed many ERP projects from a recovery, mediation and litigation perspective to determine the underlying reasons for ERP failure. The book is written in layman's terms and seeks to provide senior management, middle management, project management, and their project teams with an understanding of the issues that need to be addressed and managed in order to achieve a successful outcome from an ERP project.

A Framework For Erp System Implementation written by Jessy Nair and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013 with categories.

The rationale of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is to integrate all facets of the business enterprise under one suite of software applications. ERP standardizes the processes and makes information management effortless by integrating the various functional departments in the organization and making the information available at a centralized place. In doing so, managers are capable of insightful decision making and stay ahead of the competition. Successfully implementing ERP brings organizational change and competitive advantage to the organization. However the high cost of ERP systems in terms of investment and implementation, coupled with stories of high failure rate leads to the research question of successful ERP systems implementation. Currently success of ERP implementation is analyzed by way of its performance which can be perceived only at the end of the system implementation. Literature review cites a large extent of studies in ERP implementation analysis but there have been relatively few articles that have analyzed the ERP system performance during the implementation phase. This article suggests a structured model based on organizational change to analyze the performance of ERP. Leavitt's socio-technical system model for organizational change is considered on the premise that ERP system implementation brings about change in social and technical aspects of an organization. The constructs of the new framework model; organization, people, process and technology are adapted from the Leavitt's model which consists of the components; structure, people, task and technology. The proposed ERP systems implementation framework is formulated based on the new constructs and its associated attributes.
