La pubblicazione degli Atti del convegno internazionale Il pensiero letterario come fondamento di una testa ben fatta si propone di dare ampia disseminazione a riflessioni di studiosi che, a partire da approcci disciplinari diversi, si interrogano tutti circa l’importanza del testo letterario quale fattore strutturante di un modo complesso e ricco di guardare il mondo; di comprendere meglio se stessi e gli altri; di concepire la rete di relazioni, nel tempo e nello spazio, che compone il nostro ambiente di vita, fisico e mentale; di elaborare nuove prospettive di visione o forme di accesso alla realtà e al linguaggio più intime e dirette, come fa, ad esempio, la poesia. Sul solco del concetto di “testa ben fatta”, da Montaigne a Edgar Morin, la letteratura appare come una fondamentale modalità di connessione e di comprensione dei molteplici aspetti che realizzano la nostra umanità, per noi che siamo, innanzi tutto, degli «esseri di parola e di testi». Le Scienze dell’educazione traggono certamente vantaggio da questa consapevolezza, anche, o soprattutto, nel mondo attuale.

This book draws an updated Euro-American conceptual map, starting from a limited number of strategic terms whose meanings today are judged univocal and permanent, while in fact daily use has turned them into “common sense”, depriving them of their ambiguity – an original feature of language, particularly relevant when it comes to literary use. By re-examining the proper noun for each of the selected notions, the contributors’ common intent is to shed light on their polysemous nature and linguistic fluidity, in spite of the common tendency towards simplification and homogeneity imposed by hegemonic cultural paradigms. Along this line, the book explores the great divides between identity and otherness (or common or alien) in order to recover a sense of cultural identity which is at once polymorphous and polyphonic.

Partendo dalla «riforma del pensiero» di Morin, gli autori propongono un interessante itinerario che offre strategie didattiche concrete e fattibili per «formare una testa ben fatta». Per fare questo, si è scelto un mezzo sicuramente originale: un gioco di ruolo cooperativo tra quattro alunni che si articola su due assi, uno cognitivo e uno metacognitivo, che interagiscono continuamente. Il primo prevede due modalità di approccio ai problemi, uno globale e intuitivo (quello dell'sploratore), uno analitico e sistematico (quello dello stratega), mentre l'asse metacognitivo rappresenta i due aspetti fondamentali del pensiero umano: quello intellettuale (del critico) e quello emozionale (del saggio). Mentre sull'asse cognitivo si utilizzano prevalentemente mappe o schede, sull'asse metacognitivo, oltre a pochi strumenti specifici, si giocano soprattutto le «carte dei principi Moreniani», che favoriscono l'approccio sistemico ai problemi. Entrano così in gioco le quattro intelligenze fondamentali: l'intelligenza cognitiva, sociale, emozionale e pratica. La proposta didattica copre un arco formativo molto ampio, che va dagli ultimi anni delle elementari fino alle scuole superiori. Il libro è accompagnato da un CD ROM, che rende più evidenti i nessi teorici e facilita la realizzazione del gioco, permettendo di stampare i taccuini dei giocatori e tutte le schede operative.

Folglich geraten gerade diese Stadttexte und -filme der Romania in den Blick wie etwa die faschistischen Neugründungen in den Pontinischen Sümpfen, Neapel, Mailand und Turin, sowie Marseille, Barcelona und Jerez de la Frontera, als auch die außereuropäische Romania mit Tanger, Montréal und São Paulo. Es sind diverCities und ihr transkulturelles Auftreten geht eng einher mit Fragen nach der Positionierung der Protagonistinnen und Protagonisten zur Stadt sowie deren Zugehörigkeit oder, emphatischer, deren Verständnis von Heimat im 20. und 21. Jahrhundert. This volume explores the urban Imaginary in language, literature and film. In recent decades many of the so called 'secondary' or 'peripheral' metropolises have emerged from the shadow of the capitals, which have been focused on since the modern era in an urban, economic and aesthetic manner. Thus, these urban texts and films of the Romance are highlighted: the fascistic foundations in the Pontine Marshes such as Naples, Milan and Turin; moreover Marseille, Barcelona and Jerez de la Frontera, as well as the non-European Romance cities Tangier, Montreal and São Paulo. They represent 'diverCities' and their cross-cultural appearance is closely connected to the issue of positioning the protagonists within the city as well as their affiliation or more emphatic their understanding of 'heimat' or homeland in the 20th and 21th century.
