The governance of education in many countries and regions of the world is currently in transition, challenging histories, remaking subjectivities and shaping possible futures. Questo lavoro rappresenta il secondo rapporto di monitoraggio dell’esperienza del corso di laurea triennale in Scienze dell’Educazione e della Formazione. Il titolo, Per‐corsi di laurea triennale, scelto da Guido Benvenuto, a cui si deve lo sforzo di coordinamento della redazione di questo nuovo testo, gioca sulla parola “percorsi” e vuole essere la sintesi dell’impegno speso in questi anni per realizzare buone pratiche nella strutturazione di un corso di laurea triennale capace di rispondere agli obiettivi della riforma universitaria. È evidente che, per una comunità di ricercatori e di studenti che ha al centro dei suoi interessi il tema dell’educazione e della formazione, costruire un curriculum adeguato rappresenta una sfida impegnativa e, al tempo stesso, un’occasione di studio e di ricerca. Debbo dire che per noi è quotidianamente anche un’esperienza appassionante. Il corso di laurea, istituito nel 2001, ha avuto nella fase di avvio un notevole successo, fonte di soddisfazione ma anche di problemi. Il principale problema è stato quello di lavorare in condizioni materiali difficili soprattutto per la mancanza di spazi e di strutture, ragione per cui si è deciso di limitare l’accesso al corso di laurea per poter garantire un buon livello di qualità. Un ulteriore problema di rilievo è stato quello di dover lavorare su un sistema di riferimenti normativi caratterizzati da frequenti cambiamenti, non sempre comunicati in modo efficace. In questi anni abbiamo cercato di leggere la nostra esperienza attraverso ricerche e studi specifici che hanno coinvolto gli studenti, i dottorandi e i ricercatori e numerose sono le pubblicazioni che documentano questo lavoro.

Novel processing and searching tools for the management of new multimedia documents have developed. Multimedia Information Retrieval (MIR) is an organic system made up of Text Retrieval (TR); Visual Retrieval (VR); Video Retrieval (VDR); and Audio Retrieval (AR) systems. So that each type of digital document may be analysed and searched by the elements of language appropriate to its nature, search criteria must be extended.
