Part I of this Handbook is dedicated to presenting, discussing, and comparing three such theories of globalization and their implications for our understanding of education and education policy. Swami Vivekananda's inspiring personality was well known both in lndia and in America during the last decade of the nineteenth century and the first decade of the twentieth.
