LUCY GAMBLE, KNOCKED UP BY DYING MAN SHE GAVE SYMPATHY SEX, NOW MOVING ON TO HIS BIG BROTHER. Have you ever tried to come up with a headline for your life? Well, mine’s so cringeworthy I can’t believe it’s actually my story...or a hundred percent true. But honestly, how could I say no to the one-night-stand when he begged? Only a monster could deny someone their dying wish, right? I mean, okay, getting pregnant from the encounter was a regrettable, irresponsible mistake; I can fully admit that. Turning to his brother, however, was never part of the plan. Initially, I didn’t even like the guy. Except Vaughn Merrill is a force to be reckoned with. He’s determined to be an “involved” uncle, and no matter how much I tell him he doesn’t have to be so helpful, he’s just so freaking helpful. And gorgeous. Plus not at all the ass I assumed he was. Then there’s this massive pain and grief and loneliness I see in his eyes. I just want to hug him constantly and give him the sense of family he so desperately needs. So really, can you blame me for falling for the one man I know I shouldn’t?

Meeting your birth family is nerve-racking. So, it's helpful when tall, dark, and lovable shows up to hold your hand. Coco had never planned to find her birth parents. But when Jude finds her-confessing that he knows her birth mother and he wants to set up a meeting, it's suddenly all she can think about. Okay... maybe not all she's thinking about. The messenger, Mr. Jude Taylor, himself, is pretty difficult to get off the brain. Still, Coco's working on becoming a partner at her clinic. She's got friends and clients and a life-she can't just pick up and leave. Can she? Jude has enough on his plate-single dad, crazy ex, boring job. Yep-he's got plenty to take up his time. But when his best friend's mom asks him to do her a favor, he knows he'll come to the rescue. Lucy has always been like another mom to him-often more supportive than his own mother. The only problem-Lucy's favor is a big one. He isn't running to the store to pick up groceries, but flying one thousand miles to find a stranger and inform her that he happens to know who her birth mother is. That's a big ask. Huge. What about his job? What about his daughter? It's too much. So-of course he'll do it. Yep, he's the best... or maybe he's just a sucker who can't say no to Lucy Bailey. But Jude is logical and organized. He's got a plan. He can get this job done in less than a day. Or at least he could if Coco would follow along with the plan. It also isn't helpful that somehow this girl, Lucy's daughter, is sending sparks throughout his sparkless body. Forget tugging, Coco is the commander in control of Jude's heartstrings. But Jude has a daughter to consider and Coco has an entire family to get to know. This isn't the right time or the right place to fall in love. Too bad Jude's heart isn't listening to logic.

Raise happy and healthy plant-powered children with more than 125 family favorite recipes by Vegucated film creator Marisa Miller Wolfson, plant-based chef Laura Delhauer, and parents in the vegan community. “The Vegucated Family Table comes at a perfect time, when it’s never been more urgent for people to live more in line with their own values.”—Senator Cory Booker For both vegans and the veg-curious, The Vegucated Family Table answers the question every caregiver ponders on a daily basis: “What should I feed my child?” But this book goes a step further, showing parents how to navigate the early years of childhood as a vegan, giving not only recipes and nutritional advice but also tips for holidays, packed lunches, play dates, and more. Unlike other family-oriented vegan cookbooks, The Vegucated Family Table is the first to focus on raising vegans “from scratch,” from five months through elementary school. A Q&A section focuses on nutrition, with advice by renowned pediatric plant-based expert Reed Mangels. With more than 125 rigorously tested recipes for beloved dishes like Baby Mac-o-Lantern and Cheeze, Chickpea Sweet Potato Croquettes, PBJ Smoothie Bowl, Tempeh Tacos, Baby’s First Birthday Smash Cake, and more, this book will become the go-to reference for parents raising vegan children.

Gamson brings us extraordinary family creation tales that illuminate this changing world of contemporary kinship. He tells a variety of unconventional family-creation tales-- adoption and assisted reproduction, gay and straight parents, coupled and single, and multi-parent families-- set against the social, legal, and economic contexts in which they were made.

The open access edited volume addresses children’s rights and their ability to act in the digital world. The focus is on the position of children as subjects with their own rights and developing capacities. Their consideration by parents, courts and legislators is critically examined. Aspects of digital parenting, especially educational practices and strategies in the context of social media, are analyzed with regard to the tension between protection and participation of children. The edited volume brings debates on privacy and data protection together with those from tort, family and intellectual property law, while also examining the role of families and children in the regulation of data and digital economies, especially online platforms. Legal reflections from Germany, Israel, Portugal and the United States of America are complemented by perspectives from media studies, political science, educational science and sociology of law.
