Lima tahun setelah perantauan Mas Anan kembali, tapi setelah dia pulang hanya menghadiahiku talak. Kami hidup miskin dengan makan pas-pasan. Entah apa yang merasuki Mas Anan hingga suatu hari dia kembali dan memberikan talak tanpa memikirkan nasib kami. Saat itu hati ini hancur karena perceraian yang diputuskan setelah aku menunggu selama bertahun-tahun. Yang lebih menyakitkan lagi Mas Anan pulang dengan membawa istri keduanya ketika kata talak itu dia katakan. Aku terima keputusan itu dengan rasa sakit di dada. Ternyata selama di Jakarta Mas Anan sudah menikah lagi dan mempunyai anak dan istri orang kaya. Wanita yang menjamin hidupnya dengan harta. Setelah perpisahan itu aku membesarkan anak sendiri. Hingga pada suatu hari Ustaz Rahman menawarkan Habib ikut perlombaan MTQ yang membawa namaku menjadi harum karena dia memenangkan dengan hadiah yang besar. Saat itu mantan suamiku Mas Anan baru menyesal karena sudah mengabaikan darah dagingnya sendiri demi memilih wanita lain. Namun, ditengah kemenangan kami Sarah istrinya kedua Mas Anan memfitnahku hingga aku harus menikah paksa dengan Ustaz Rahman. Kami akhirnya menikah, tapi hubungan ini sama sekali tidak direstui oleh Umi Fatimah, ibu dari Ustaz Rahman. Dan akhirnya aku diusir dari rumah besar itu.

European Union Enlargement offers an intense and detailed analysis of the almost ten-year process of preparing and negotiating the accession of Eastern, Southeastern, and Central European countries, as well as Mediterranean countries to the European Union. In the end, ten joined in 2004, with two more to follow in 2007. European Union Enlargement was written by two diplomats who were directly involved in that process. Sajdik and Schwarzinger relate their first-hand experience of proceedings that occurred behind closed doors. They detail how the vision of adding some countries gradually developed into the concrete policy intended to enlarge the European Union. A special chapter explains the Accession Process as well as the Union's strategy that prepared the candidate countries, in legal and economic terms, for membership. The authors describe in detail the complex negotiations that occurred from 1998 to 2002. These include activities of EU member states as well as the European Commission with respect to the candidate countries. They further offer a brief analysis of future possibilities of EU-accession by Balkan nations and Turkey. Business ethics is a form of the art of applied ethics that examines ethical rules and principles within a commercial context, the various moral or ethical problems that can arise in a business setting, and any special duties or obligations that apply to persons who are engaged in commerce. Business ethics can be both a normative and a descriptive discipline. As a corporate practice and a career specialisation, the field is primarily normative. In academia descriptive approaches are also taken. The range and quantity of business ethical issues reflects the degree to which business is perceived to be at odds with non-economic social values. Historically, interest in business ethics accelerated dramatically during the 1980s and 1990s, both within major corporations and within academia. For example, today most major corporate websites lay emphasis on commitment to promoting non-economic social values under a variety of headings (e.g. ethics codes, social responsibility charters). In some cases, corporations have redefined their core values in the light of business ethical considerations. Catching business ethics in action, however, remains a seldom-spotted nugget for in reality it depends on the characters of the characters.
