Dies wurde bisher noch nicht explizit in der Literatur dargestellt, deshalb ist das Ziel der Arbeit, neue Erkenntnisse zur wissenschaftlichen Diskussion zum Thema Jugendsprache beizutragen. Die Jugendsprache und die sozialen Medien spielen in unserem Alltag immer eine größere Rolle. Man begegnet den sozialen Medien Tag für Tag und sie sind vor allem bei der jüngeren Generation gar nicht mehr wegzudenken. Aufgrund dessen entstehen immer wieder neue Varietäten der deutschen Sprache. In dieser Arbeit werden die Jugendsprache und Teile des Kiezdeutschen genauer erläutert. Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Darstellung relevanter Unterschiede in Bezug auf die Verwendung der verschiedenen Formen von Jugendsprache nach Alter, Geschlecht, Migrationshintergrund und Bildungsgrad, gezeigt am Beispiel der sozialen Medien TikTok, WhatsApp und Instagram. Es sind bereits ähnliche Studien veröffentlicht worden, welche sich mit dem Thema beschäftigten. Beispielhaft dafür untersuchte Könning, welche Themenfelder während der Schulpausen aus Schüler*innensicht interessant sind. Dabei zeigt die Untersuchung, dass die sozialen Medien sehr präsent im Leben der Jugendlichen sind.

Master's Thesis from the year 2019 in the subject Communications - Multimedia, Internet, New Technologies, grade: 1.75, , course: Media Studies, language: English, abstract: The study describes the media literacy levels of senior high school learners in the Philippines through their exposure, knowledge, and usage by using the concepts of Potter’s Cognitive Theory of Media Literacy and Alagaran’s Explore, Engage, and Empower Model. A mixed-method was deployed through conducting surveys to 197 respondents and focus group discussions to 17 participants from a subset sample of Grade 11 and 12 students of Rizal High School. Results and findings showed that senior high school millennials in the study are highly social media-based, highly motivated than knowledgeable, experience-based than factual-based, and suggestive than reflective. They also prioritize in being critical media users than competent producers. The study concludes that to maximize the 80-hour Media and Information Literacy subject, curriculum developers should decide whether to promote or focus / promote traditional media, developmental orientation, and quality production or focus on learner-preferred social media, individual orientation, and critical thinking.

Quasi-experimental research design was used to examine the impact of training in some aspects of Internet information dissemination and the effects it would have on the ministries of the pastors. Thirty pastors were randomly selected and trained from the pool of pastors without experience in the use of the Internet. A course content was designed for the training. A questionnaire was administered to the pastors before the training as a pre-test and the same questionnaire was administered again to the pastors after the training as a post-test. Ten church members were also randomly selected from each of the churches of these pastors who assessed the impact of the training after the pastors have used the acquired knowledge in their ministries for one month. After the pastors have been using the knowledge in their ministries for one month another questionnaire was administered to the church members for the appraisal. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyse the data collected.
