Pouvoir, société et lieux de sacralité (Xe-XVe s.), Denise Aigle studies the spiritual role, but also the political one, played by the Sufi shaykhs. From the tenth century, Fārs was a a land of holiness with Shaykh Kabīr in Shiraz and Murshid al-Dīn Abū Isḥāq in Kāzarūn. This research is based on hagiographic sources, historical chronicles, literary sources and archival documents. The author shows how the pre-Islamic history of Fārs was integrated into spiritual Islam thanks to the mystical speculations of the Sufi shaykhs. The particular interest of this research is its contribution to the history of Lāristān, a region that has long remained terra incognita. Thanks to handwritten hagiographic documents preserved in several private libraries, we discover the existence and the role of spiritual masters until now totally unknown.

The Age Of Diversity written by Jean-Louis Roy and has been published by Mosaic Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-11-01 with Business & Economics categories.

In twenty-five years, 80% of the world population will live in Asia and Africa. What changes, culturally I particular, should be expected in this century? This is the vast and fascinating question Jean-Louis Roy tries to answer with the help of correspondents from Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe. The author argues that shifting wealth from the West to Asia, Latin America and Africa causes the reconfiguration of the economic map. This tilting also transforms the global cultural space. The dominant cultural position occupied by the Atlantic area will not disappear overnight. However, it is important to note that emerging countries are working earnestly, well served by the tools of the digital age. For example, China is already the world leader in the art market, and Nigeria, the second in international film production after India. Diversity emerges from all sides. Welcome to the twenty-first century!

Histoire De L Islam written by Stanford Mc Krause and has been published by Cambridge Stanford Books this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on with History categories.
