L’exposition présentée à la Sorbonne restitue une partie de ce fonds à travers des vues qui n’ont jamais eu le droit de paraître. Censurées dès leur production, pour des raisons stratégiques ou diplomatiques, elles ont toutefois été inventoriées et conservées. Ce catalogue présente une sélection de ces images interdites à la diffusion pendant la Grande Guerre. Plus, historiens et sémiologues proposent des analyses individuelles.
