Ce double mouvement de fond touche différemment le monde rural et ne fait qu'accentuer l'écart entre les pays du Nord et ceux du Sud. Cette étude approfondie des grands types de structure agraire contemporains permet de dessiner l'avenir des campagnes du monde.
