En Suisse, il constitue cependant un domaine du droit encore nouveau qui, jusqu'à ce jour, a peu retenu l'attention des praticiens. Les questions juridiques touchant les seniors sont néanmoins très vastes, comportant notamment des aspects de droit public et privé, suisse et étranger. Les juristes de notre pays ne peuvent pas ignorer ce phénomène et doivent être prêts à répondre rapidement à un besoin d'information et formation grandissant. Trois séminaires de formation ont été organisés par le réseau Seniorlaw.ch entre 2016 et 2018, dont les actes constituent le présent ouvrage. Les thèmes traités sont la protection de l'adulte, le droit des successions, le droit de la famille et le droit du travail, analysés du point de vue de la protection spécifique de la personne âgée. L'approche ne s'est pas limitée au droit suisse, mais a fait également place aux règles de droit international, en particulier en matière de protection des personnes handicapées.

This book provides a multidisciplinary and comparative look at the contemporary phenomenon of conscientious objection or contestation in the name of religion and examines the key issues that emerge in terms of citizenship and democracy.
