Ce livre restitue les travaux pionniers (mémoires et thèses) de l’École camerounaise d’histoire du droit et d’anthropologie juridique. Persuadés de la nécessité d’un renversement épistémologique pour refonder le droit positif africain sur des bases endogènes, le Pr Blaise Alfred Ngando et ses disciples (doctorants et docteurs) s’investissent depuis une décennie dans cette voie pour (re)questionner les problématiques juridiques à l’aune des réalités locales. Avec la création en avril 2023 du Laboratoire d’histoire du droit et des coutumes du Cameroun « LHDCC », ces travaux vont s’amplifier pour faire de l’histoire du droit une discipline majeure dans les facultés de droit au Cameroun.
