Lehrer- und Lehrerinnenbildung war schon immer den Ansprüchen, Idealen und Interessen verschiedenster gesellschaftlicher Akteure ausgesetzt. Mit den vielfältigen aktuellen Herausforderungen für das Schulsystem wächst auch der Handlungsdruck, die Lehrer/innenbildung so (um)zugestalten, dass den Studierenden, Referendaren und im Beruf stehenden Lehrern und Lehrerinnen problemadäquate Kompetenzen, Handlungsoptionen und Werkzeug vermittelt werden. Gerade in letzter Zeit hat sich jedoch auch gezeigt, dass die am Reformprozess Beteiligten teilweise aus divergenten Bildungskulturen stammen. In jedem Subsystem der Lehrer/innenbildung (Hochschule, Seminar, Fort- und Weiterbildung mit ihren jeweiligen Segmentierungen) zeigen sich unterschiedlich gewachsene Kulturen. Wenn die Akteure im Sinne einer problemadäquaten, über die Grenzen der eigenen Zuständigkeit hinaus gehenden Ergebnisorientierung enger zusammenarbeiten, ist die Bezugnahme auf einen Referenzrahmen gemeinsamer Normen, Werte und Traditionen gefordert. Die Kernfrage hierbei ist: Welche Kulturen der Lehrer/innenbildung sind erforderlich, um Schüler und Schülerinnen von heute in einer strukturell im Gestern verwurzelten Schule für ein größtenteils unbekanntes Morgen auszubilden? Dabei gilt es zu hinterfragen, wie viel gemeinsame (Ausbildungs-)Kultur notwendig und möglich ist, ohne fruchtbare Subkulturen zu zerstören und diese in ihrer dynamisierenden Funktion im Wandlungsprozess auszuschalten. Ziel dieses Bandes ist es, unterschiedliche Perspektiven bzw.
