Die Einbeziehung dieser personennahen und fachinhaltsübergreifenden Vorstellungen bei der didaktischen Strukturierung von Unterrichtsprozessen trägt der Tatsache Rechnung, dass Lernprozesse nicht allein durch fachliche Vorstellungen bestimmt werden. Auch solche, die über die fachliche Ebene hinausgehen, nehmen auf das Unterrichts- und Lerngeschehen Einfluss. Am Beispiel einer Interventionsstudie zur Gentechnik prüft die Autorin, wie die explizite Reflexion und Berücksichtigung impliziter Vorstellungen bzw. Alltagsphantasien für die fachdidaktische Diskussion fruchtbar gemacht werden kann.
