December 6, 2017 I'm in Church. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed; it is the season of Advent, and the alter is decorated in purple it is so beautiful! As I look up at the stained glass window to the right of the cross hanging, I see the words "You did it." I had just finished this book and emailed a copy to this publisher. Now I have to wait and see if they are going to publish it. I was really nervous; it's not every day you let the world in on your sinful ways! Writing this book was the hardest thing I have ever done. On seeing those words, I knew I was obedient to what God had ask me to do: write the book. Whatever happens after this is in God's hands. This book ends as it started: trusting, believing and living by the Word of God. At age twenty-five, I had finally had enough of my messed-up life. Nothing was working - my car was repossessed; I found out my boyfriend was living with another woman; my roommate just up and left; I had no money; my heat was shut off; I was behind on my mortgage; and I hated my job. I went into my roommate's empty room and cried. I got on my knees and prayed to God to help me. When I woke up the next day, I didn't feel the same way. I felt God's presence in my life. God never leaves us; we leave him. I was the one missing in the relationship. I kicked God out of my life when I chose sin over Him. I had a new beginning. I was born again, and I was going to start living by the Word of God. The best thing I ever did!
