As the person who spent the most time with my mother, I have written this book in the hopes that many others who are dealing with Lupus along with the challenges it creates, hear her voice in every way. So, throughout my entire illness, I began telling myself that once I survived this ordeal; I would be writing a book detailing my personal account of what the experience was like going through and surviving lupus.
