Handbook Of Research On Stem Education written by Carla C. Johnson and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-04-27 with Education categories.
The Handbook of Research on STEM Education represents a groundbreaking and comprehensive synthesis of research and presentation of policy within the realm of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. What distinguishes this Handbook from others is the nature of integration of the disciplines that is the founding premise for the work – all chapters in this book speak directly to the integration of STEM, rather than discussion of research within the individual content areas. The Handbook of Research on STEM Education explores the most pressing areas of STEM within an international context. Divided into six sections, the authors cover topics including: the nature of STEM, STEM learning, STEM pedagogy, curriculum and assessment, critical issues in STEM, STEM teacher education, and STEM policy and reform. The Handbook utilizes the lens of equity and access by focusing on STEM literacy, early childhood STEM, learners with disabilities, informal STEM, socio-scientific issues, race-related factors, gender equity, cultural-relevancy, and parental involvement. Additionally, discussion of STEM education policy in a variety of countries is included, as well as a focus on engaging business/industry and teachers in advocacy for STEM education. The Handbook’s 37 chapters provide a deep and meaningful landscape of the implementation of STEM over the past two decades. As such, the findings that are presented within provide the reader with clear directions for future research into effective practice and supports for integrated STEM, which are grounded in the literature to date.

Connecting Science And Engineering Education Practices In Meaningful Ways written by Leonard A. Annetta and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-03-02 with Science categories.
The need for a scientifically literate citizenry, one that is able to think critically and engage productively in the engineering design process, has never been greater. By raising engineering design to the same level as scientific inquiry the Next Generation Science Standards’ (NGSS) have signaled their commitment to the integration of engineering design into the fabric of science education. This call has raised many critical questions...How well do these new standards represent what actually engineers do? Where do the deep connections among science and engineering practices lie? To what extent can (or even should) science and engineering practices co-exist in formal and informal educational spaces? Which of the core science concepts are best to leverage in the pursuit of coherent and compelling integration of engineering practices? What science important content may be pushed aside? This book, tackles many of these tough questions head on. All of the contributing authors consider the same core question: Given the rapidly changing landscape of science education, including the elevated status of engineering design, what are the best approaches to the effective integration of the science and engineering practices? They answered with rich descriptions of pioneering approaches, critical insights, and useful practical examples of how embodying a culture of interdisciplinarity and innovation can fuel the development of a scientifically literate citizenry . This collection of work builds traversable bridges across diverse research communities and begins to break down long standing disciplinary silos that have historically often hamstrung well-meaning efforts to bring research and practice from science and engineering together in meaningful and lasting ways.

Emerging Applications And Implementations Of Metal Organic Frameworks written by Elsaeed, Shimaa Mohamed and has been published by IGI Global this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-03-18 with Technology & Engineering categories.
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are some of the most discussed materials of the last decade. Their extraordinary porosity and functionality from metals and organic linkers make them one of the most promising materials for a vast array of applications. The easy tunability of their pore size and shape from the micro- to meso-scale by changing the connectivity of the inorganic moiety and the nature of the organic linkers makes these materials special. Moreover, by combining with other suitable materials, the properties of MOFs can be improved further for enhanced functionality/stability, ease of preparation, and selectivity of operation. Emerging Applications and Implementations of Metal-Organic Frameworks combines the latest empirical research findings with relevant theoretical frameworks in this area in order to improve the reader’s understanding of MOFs and their different applications in areas that include drug delivery, heavy metal removal from water, and gas storage. The design and synthesis of MOFs are also investigated along with the preparation of composites of MOFs. While covering applications that include water defluoridation, rechargeable batteries, and pharmaceutically adapted drug delivery systems, the book’s target audience is comprised of professionals, researchers, academicians, and students working in the field of physical and polymer chemistry, physics, engineering science, and environmental science.

NeutroAlgebra and AntiAlgebra were extended to NeutroGeometry and AntiGeometry in order to catch the Non-Euclidean Geometries. In the real world, the spaces and the elements that populate them and the rules that apply to them are not perfect, uniform, homogeneous, or complete. They are fragmentary and disparate, with unclear and conflicting information, and they do not apply in the same degree to each element. Therefore, these partial, hybrid, and mixed structures are necessary. NeutroGeometry, NeutroAlgebra, and SuperHyperAlgebra in Today's World presents applications of many NeutroStructures in our real world and considers NeutroGeometry and AntiGeometry as new fields of research that resemble everyday life. Covering key topics such as hyperbolic geometry, elliptic geometry, and AntiGeometry, this reference work is ideal for mathematicians, industry professionals, researchers, scholars, academicians, practitioners, instructors, and students.

Truth is ever to be found in simplicity and not in multiplicity and confusion of things. I have just three things to teach or say: to the contemporary Humans that simplicity, Patience and compassion are the three building blocks of humanity. Simplicity and humanity are the ultimate sophistications of human civilization. They are the essence of happiness since great acts are made up of small deeds. All I have is a sense of duty toward all people and attachment to those with whom I have become intimate. Thus the next evolutionary step for me that mankind is to be more from man to kind. Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s need not everyman’s greed. Hence I have taken up writing books to mould other beings to be humans not as savage since we Hominids were savage in early stage and now it is high time to turn out ourselves into humans. Simplicity, which is the essence of happiness, is great act of humans for doing small deeds. Right from retirement as an Audit Officer from the Office of the Principal Accountant General Audit Andhra Pradesh Hyderabad, on 01-07-2003, I studied LL.B, at the evening age of 60 to 69 years while writing certain controversial books like (i)“ Human Life-A Philosophical Audit, (ii) We Think Therefore We Are”, (iii)“My Mind is My Mosque” (iv)“ Tears of Terrorism” (v) “After all Whose Life is It any Way?”( a book on Euthanasia) (vi)“Know your India-Open a new Page for writing Nationalism” (for India’s Nationalism) (vii) Paradise Lost ( a real life story of a Jihadists killing his own mother in Syria for the sake of Blessing of Paradise by the Allah) (viii) “Spicy Trade” (How India was subjected to Invasion by Arabs, Europeans and finally tampered One India into Three viz. Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, (ix) “Father Turns Monster” ( real story relating to a father to save his child by killing innocent peoples and plucked their organs like Lungs and Heart and used for Transplantation and replacement of his sons Lungs and Heart”) (x) “Tridevi Trident” (story relating to three sisters killing their father who became Psycho in raping the children including themselves and this is also a real story). I normally portray in a books only facts not fiction, poetry and no fairy tails. My aim is let the decide what is fact and what fiction and develop his personality accordingly since what ever that feels, perceives, desires expressions and emotions are all the offshoots of the Brain. The meaning of life is to take birth, to grow, to feed, to develop energy, procreate children and finally to die and merge into the womb of Earth as a piece of nuclei. That is it! Hence I did not show craze for the monetary returns but only to show the people how the realm of our Society is inflamed with monetary gains. This my story in short.
