On a Friday afternoon in April, 2017, I sat in my living room chair reading Matthew's beatitudes. The thought entered my mind. 'What does it really mean to be poor in spirit?' With modern technology at hand, I typed the question into Google and received an answer from Billy Graham at billygraham.org The experience, though quite simple, touched me deeply. A comment from a previous reader brought a tear to my eye. And I promised our God I would write these words with His blessing. Lord, You spoke from the top of the mount, to Your chosen and the multitudes. I pray that I am included among those who are so blessed. Amen
