A presente obra tem como objetivo apresentar a rotina de coleta de dados que são feitas diariamente pela Clínica Médica, objeto desse estudo. Assim, expõe-se de que modo é realizado o tratamento desses dados, as medidas protetivas cabíveis se houver um vazamento, e quais os desafios e dificuldades foram encontrados durante esse processo de elaboração da adequação. Além disso, descreve como será na prática a implementação e conscientização da Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados. Para a contextualização dos fatos, realizou-se um estudo de caso aplicado em Clínica Médica sediada no Estado de Santa Catarina, onde foi observada a rotina da organização para esse fim. Também desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica acerca das relações entre Administração e Direito Empresarial e Direito Digital, voltado à Lei 13.709/2018 e correlacionado com as leis existentes. Como forma de instrumento de coleta de pesquisa, aplicou-se no primeiro semestre de 2021 a entrevista semiestruturada, por meio de um roteiro para a formulação das perguntas, caracterizando-a como qualitativa. Além disso, demonstra-se por meio de um fluxograma das rotinas empresariais da recepção da Clínica, considerando a dinâmica de compartilhamento de dados pessoais. Verificou-se, por meio da revisão bibliográfica, que todas as organizações, seja ela de qualquer natureza, devem se adequar à LGPD, pois, além de ser um diferencial na competitividade, assegura aos gestores terem consciência da privacidade e do conhecimento dos direitos e deveres ao serem responsáveis pelos dados fornecidos. Constatou-se que é necessário, para essa implementação, o estabelecimento de um programa de governança em proteção de dados pessoais, buscando evitar erros e saber como agir numa situação de risco e ameaça à proteção de dados.
